  4. Na so I name my daughter Makayla, after like 2 weeks of my mum in law and even my mum butchering the name, we kuku made her yoruba name her first name when we proceeded to get her birth certificate, and then Makayla became her middle name.
Now we Don reach abroad, and these people dey murder the pronunciation of her name despite the fact that we call her the shortened form of her yoruba name (just 3 letters), so Tey my daughter too is beginning to pronounce her name the way they pronounce it in her daycare, I've been steadily correcting her sha.

  6. So strange and funny when I see Nigerians give people white people names and those rachet, ghetto akata names.... do white people give their children Nigerian names? Do akara people give their children Nigerian names?
    Nigerian and forcing to belong.
That's the reason I respect Indians and Chinese, majority hold on to their names, culture etc which ever country.
I said MAJORITY, I did not say ALL.
