ReplyDeleteGov. Ambode is learning what politics entails. He now realizes that even his leader who sacrificed the political careers of many close followers to make him governor based on his capacity never had anything against him. He needed to soothe sore toes for the sake of political harmony and national peace.
ReplyDeleteAll of the CPC propaganda that got to Ambo, when godsons that were parading as party chairmen kept misleading him about a family matter, caused certain missteps around the primaries but those must be better understood now. He acted without cover as governor of a very politically sensitive state and those with other preferred candidates in the circle of ten pounced. He almost cost ACN the APC simply because he is politically green despite achieving so much as governor. Not every follower can have the charisma, network and luck of Fashola who also stayed on because of the support he got from Tinubu's lieutenants when Baba was having misgivings.
If Ambo is listed as a possible minister or head of parastatal, ATI de as he will surely perform: I am thinking AG of the federation ,FIRS if not a minister? He would better understand how to read rooms now and when to seek superior cover.
