He did not say this it was an addition in the movie. It was called “the unsinkable ship” . I blame the radio guys there was a ship close by (I think it was called the Northerner) that tried to radio in to warn them of ice but the boy was told to shut up as it was late and there was interference in the radio reception. Please read facts don’t follow movie plot lines . Romeo and Juliet did not exist either. Rich people and women were mostly saved first off the titanic , poor people were scrambling for life boats.
