DSS Ignores Court Order And Returns Suspended CBN Gov Emefiele To Custody

Despite order by the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, the Department of State Services, DSS, has returned the suspended governor of the Central Bank, CBN, Godwin Emefiele to custody.

Daily post recalls that the court had earlier granted bail to Emefiele after he pleaded not guilty to the two counts charge bordering on the alleged illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo who granted the bail, ordered that Emefiele be remanded in prison until he fulfils his bail conditions.
However, officials of the secret police and their counterparts in the Nigerian Correctional Services were engaged in a physical fight over who would move Emefiele from the court.

A few minutes ago, officials of the DSS succeeded in taking the suspended governor of the apex bank away from the court.

    3. Court orders has never been obeyed by the Nigerian authority. The rascality in which the government and its security agencies operates is so evident in their abuse of the judiciary.

  4. It must be so shameful and clownish being a lawyer in a lawless country..

I do not pity him tho, when they're flexing the corruption, stealing and being evil to the masses, they never know that the corruption they support will work against them in future..

They've killed the judiciary to the extent that no one respects it anymore, now they're running to the same judiciary they killed to fight for them, with which power kwanu.?

I remember him shamefully making a press briefing and telling aboki FX to come and fight him..

Now look at him carrying big Bible to court deceiving himself and trying to bred religious sentiment.. hoping the gullible ones would feel he is facing persecution because he is a Christian or they have to stand by him cos he is a Christian..
What an insult on our intelligence.. I don't blame him tho, we have many educated fools in this country who when they show their tribalistic or religious fanaticism, you begin to wonder how the uneducated people would behave, if the educated ones are these stupid..

    The country shames me..

    The leader are evil
    The masses are stupid

    3. How did we get to this point as a people? The judiciary gave room for what's happening to them. They get involved in the legislative and executive corrupt practices by accepting bribe to truncate justice.

Today, the executive arms abuses the judiciary as if they aren't among the tiers of government..
