The same thing applies to Mechanics, Carpenters, Hair Stylists, Barbers etc.
There are several factors associated with this. For instance, a service provider in Mushin will not charge you the same thing his colleague in Banana Island is charging.
It may also depend on the experience of the said provider.
It's not only Artisans. The same also applies to Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers … even super markets and traders!!
In summary, what I am saying is that if she had accepted his earlier bill of N150,000, but later found out that she can get the same service for N20,000, she does not have any right to arrest him.

DeleteNa wa. Did you people read the part that he was switching off her water from behind. The way we justify stealing eh. That how my niece was complaining that her teacher was eating her food with her spoon.and taking all her candy ( she’s a germaphobe so she won’t eat her food anymore once teachers user eats from it. It got to a point the mum had to talk to the proprietress. Instead of the proprietress to address it she was making excuses for the teacher saying that there is hunger in the land. That’s how the teacher started picking on the poor girl till they removed her from the school. Other parents also confirmed that their kids also complained to them but out of fear they stayed silent.

And they have a right to charge you their price according their worth . If she agreed to pay why arrest again ? Police no go collect money ? ReplyDeleteWhat crime did he commit ps. He charged 150k. He did not force her to pay. Why do we have backward thinking people in Nigeria? Can she try this in the UK where she grew up? Is this not madness. Who and who applauded this nonsense. Can a legal team pick this up and she pays for reputational damage. Things dey happen sha.
