Many Many Deltamen do this a lot. Whether waffi, isoko, ijaw, urhobo, itshekiri. Them go just dey gbensh small girls up and down and have children they don't care for or provide for. Na, their (the kids) respective mothers that sell periwinkle and grasscutter to raise those kids herself. The mums looks so stressed yet not even 23years old yet.
DeleteIts like those men just like irresponsible sex and the 'survived by 50 children' part of an obituary announcement. They do not give those kids a quality life or a model for successful leadership. And chances are their children may end up marrying each other sef (incest)
I hope this selfish MINDSET changes for rhe betterment of that area and society in general

DeleteI know of someone, using his small connection to put most of his14 sisters in jobs. He can do it because he doesn't care about merit or nepotism and they have educational qualification.
I based mine on merit first, then wanted to help some ppl but i couldn't do it because the ones who havent japa'd, keep chanting who school epp, so they dont have the requirements for me to help them on a very basic level o, what they have in excess is ego and pride.
Pray tell, what is left for the 40 kids from 5 mothers who don't blve in school and are even hyping their father for his selfish polygamous choices of having children and not caring a bit about them?

ReplyDeleteYeah, Christmas used to be fun in our family until the crisis of polygamy rocked our boat. Today, I live as if I dropped from heaven with no family. My first son was shocked when he attended my father's burial to see the members of my family. He came back to ask me, mummy so you are from a big family? He was shocked to his bone to see the people from my roots. See me here with half siblings scattered across the globe but we have no link whatsoever. Some I have not even contacted for over 30 years. It is well, someday we shall meet at the feet of Jesus. Las las it shall be well with us all.My father himself drew the line between his children while he was still alive. He warned my brother and I never to have anything to do with our half siblings. I remember how mad he was when he learnt that I went to beg for help from one of the husband's of my half sisters, he nearly ate me raw. Na only he know wetin he know. I don't pray polygamy for my worst enemy. Not at all. I thank God for blessing me with a man who fears God. That is my sole consolation that all will be well till death do us part.
ReplyDeleteI am telling you@ 14:17, polygamy and half siblings is like dining with satan himself! I was showing them love until my mom warned me not to eat anything my sisters give to me, as we are from different Dad's and I loved them like my 2nd mothers!not knowing these women were evil .Now I am on my own! Fear didn't not allow me marry because of the trauma from both father and mother's side! I am so much at peace in my own space. It is well! Is better to be single and stay alive, until God brings that chosen Man,because men sef,don't want to marry from complex family backgrounds these days!
