    2. Keep choosing frustration. This tweet was vague and did not in any way mention any political issue.

Now to your pain: The crude oil price is internationally set, it is not the doing of any national government, the refineries are moribund and when Buhari with all his flaws, was urging everyone to convert their cars to CNG and setting up conversion centers, people in one of the worlds poorest countries were doing shakara.

There is no other way forward which is why Peter Obi and Atiku both promised to discontinue subsidy FROM DAY ONE, just like Tinubu as it was either that or Sri Lanka. .

35 of the 36 states of the country are non productive, having to go to Abuja to steal money from oil producing communities who are suffering even more as they cannot farm or fish.
80 % of the budget, more than half of which is borrowed, was going into funding basics and servicing loans. Nigeria is broke and post pandemic, global inflation worsened after people were sharing and stealing money they didn't work for.

You have not provided yet you are expectant: that is entitlement and even the man crying production was still importing biscuit into his supermarkets and not paying taxes.

Profer intelligent ideas that will serve as solutions at the local level: mass CNG conversion and privatizing the refineries. Even the UK with a multi trillion dollars budget had to face austerity under many prime ministers with benefits being cut by over 40 percent by David Cameron.

Reality is the name of the game now. Local food production and a focus on of meeting needs in the international market drive positive reforms have been made in the monetary policy.

    1. Awon vote the candidate not the political party werey just dey start.

He showed you who he really was during campaign, avoiding public debates and all,una still vote am. Apc gave hardship to all of us, with their buhari writing his yeye legacy in the stars & history books, by approving useless naira swap/scarcity on citizens within the same year he way to leave the presidency so as to show shegey to the young.generations who didn't heed to the older generations caution of voting this military dictator.

Gear up cus this is just the start, you don't think deeply so won't know how dollar is 1500 naira take affect your taking your 4 kids from school cus of increase in schoolers amd tuition. Mind you his wives and kids will never experience the hardship and trek a ton that we all are facing one way or another.

Those who don't learn by advice, learn by experience.

    2. Your need a basic understanding of economics. BAT did not increase the price of crude oil but rather, has with his reforms, saved Nigeria over 400 billion naira in savings since the hemorrhagic practice of subsidy was ended. Every country around the world buy crude oil at the same price and just like diesel has been deregulated for many years, the price will change based on international supply and demand which the government does not control.

You come from a state that does not produce a dime and yet, you are expecting free education, healthcare, roads, security and everything to be sold under N1,000 because everyone gathers once a month to take blood money from crude oil to buy and "subsidize" refined products as if you can be rich from using Cocoa money to buy chocolate. How much are you paying in taxes? How is that expectation reasonable?

Read about the rise of be economies like Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, even Ghana that is gradually rising and Rwanda and research on your phone how much they pay in consumables. Read about old economies and their monetary policy as well including
There is no fake free lunch anymore.

These present reforms have provided a level playing field, a flat surface for people with entrepreneurial and innovative ideas to personally reposition themselves and their businesses to make the most of it in the small medium and large scale. These are the ideas you should explore instead of thinking that complaining or changing people because of limited understanding will change the reality of mathematics.

It is unwise to use the current savings in a country that is dangerously in debt to subsidize consumables once again. Thank God he realized that and rolled back the palliatives proposed to quell the noise of the ignorant.
