It is so painful losing your lover, husband, father of your children, friend and companion to another woman, not that he died. Even if she remarries, it won't be like her first love, husband of her youth with whom she created fond memories.
Stella, at this point, I am guessing you know more than you are writing on but let it be that what you think you know is the truth. Love cannot be forced, and true love never dies. If it dies, it was never love in the first place. People get together due to lust, likeness, infatuation, or passion and not love and these feelings are temporary. Love is an emotion that keeps people bonded and committed to one another People were mad at Yul because of the way he married his second wife. I do not think any person will be happy to hear that their spouse got married from a third source. In addition, if you follow Yul and May before his announcement, they were professing love to each other, so his announcement came as a surprise. He wanted both of them but May refused to share her husband, at least with her knowledge. I will categorically tell you that some people will continue to love and care for you but will NEVER share you with another partner. Yul is an adult and no one can force him to stay with one woman. That is a bitter pill. However, where he got it wrong was with the death of his son. His acclaimed first son! A 16-year-old boy. Even if May killed her son, will that prevent him from mourning his own son? Except he found out that he is not the biological father of the boy and is happy that the boy died. It is all shades of wrong the manner he started showing off his second wife shortly after the boy’s death. About divorce, custody, and property sharing, divorce can be granted within a short notice if the couple did not contest. If the house is in May’s name and she has the children, she can get the house 100% because Yul might not qualify for alimony. The richer person can also pay child support. In divorce, the children suffer. None of them won anything. Children can also cut ties with either or even both parents. None of us is in their lives and we do not know for sure what happened, but can we put ourselves in their position as spouse, children, or sibling of the dead boy. How would you feel?

So if after marriage you want to break it only because you now feel you met someone better, you are wrong. Remove your eyes and face your marriage. That is the honourable thing to do. Once you continue working on your marriage with your spouse, you will enjoy your home. But when your greedy eyes are outside and you break your home because of lack of contentment, you are foolish and will reap the consequences. Only death should separate a couple ideally. Apart from domestic violence, abuse of different forms and adultery, couples should work at staying together and building their home, nurturing their kids and each other. God should be the foundation of any family and all would be well.
