DeleteOh Stella, this pix just brought tears to my eyes. I remember my mum, how she suffered selling orishrishi so we could survive. From seasonal fruits to moimoi, corn, & fried chicken. Because my wicked father left the responsibilities to her hiding under the guise of he doesn't have money. Not knowing he was hiding to borrow people money with high interest rates. Hmmmmm...all the money he stashed couldn't help him when he was sick & dying. He suffered terribly, na we kukuma take care of am including my mum who he later begged before he died. Those days in school, I dreaded rainy season because I knew my mum will be in the rain selling. Thank God she's enjoying the fruits of her labour. May our mothers not labour in vain π
