    2. She’s charged with manslaughter
Murder is generally a crime of intent or a depraved mind as defined by state law. The prosecutor doesn’t believe she had the requisite intent. It appears more of a crime of instant anger more so than a crime of let me wait for her to come to my door one day and I’ll kill her
Manslaughter is more likely to be won in court anyway and also carries jail time

  3. Your husband cheats on you but insists on eating together with you everyday and you are thinking its love??

He is just trying to be sure you aren’t adding poison like that pharmacist lady to his food;that’s also why he insists that one or two of the kids join him while eating everyday cos he knows you won’t ever have the mind to poison it knowing you have a lot to lose..

I just say make I update na…Cheaters are losers nevertheless..

Na why guyman will tell you he is filled and can’t eat anything the day no one joins or he returns late..

Bro! Why you talk am nah..
I just dey read the matter dey laff..

You see ehn, our fathers wise like mad, even though my father trust my mom, growing up, we the kids must eat his food oh, at worse him go remain for us and we go dey rush for who to go carry the plate😁

See ehn, I have said it here before that if I'm all those guys that their wife catch cheating and 'forgive' them, I no go free oh.. as you don catch me, make the marriage kuku end.. I tell one babe wey go dey snoop that thing say the day wey you go see Wetin you dey find so, na that day we don end oh.. no be me go dey put my life at risk.. she dey laff..

The thing many men don't know is that most time a wife that decide to stay back in the marriage after catching you cheating is that she didn't stay back because she forgave you, she did so cos she has more to lose by leaving the marriage, she'll become a divorced lady, she might have to become another woman's husband side chic, what about training the kids and even funding her own lifestyle.. so mahn, she's not doing it for you but for herself..

The ones who maybe are financially capable and all but don't want the divorced tag on them prefer the widow tag, so them go calm down and kill you first before them bounce..

      Solutions:
      *Don't cheat
*Be polygamous (they'll be too busy fighting themselves to care about you)
      *Don't get married

    7. I still believe couples have to build their relationship/marriages with the word of God.even if mistakes occur in the future, they should be quick to resolve issues and forgive one and another. planning a revenge is wrong, God could turn it around and make you fall into your own pit.its important we all take our prayer lives seriously.

    10. This is why I shake my head when I see Kelvin and Teejay most especially Kelvin, ask that if a woman snoops and finds out her partner is cheating what else would she do? But only to cry.

Was it not here that a medical doctor sent in a chronicle of her husband cheating with a village girl and wanting to marry her despite her building a house for his family? She said she was tempted to 'off him' slowly without him realising it. We had to beg her and thank God she listened and went ahead for a divorce instead.

If you cheat and you are found out please be careful because not everyone can stand being slighted or scorned.

Whenever a woman wants to leave her cheating husband people also need to stop telling her to stay back. My neighbour then always said she wants to leave her husband. He was a chronic cheat but her family would advise her to stay back and the cheating husband too will beg and cry fake tears only to go back to cheating. They will wear her out with begging even though she said she could not stand the sight of her husband and he repulsed her. Mind you on top of cheating he beats her up at every provocation that we always have to go and save her from him.

I was the only one telling her to leave if she wants before he kills her and make her children motherless so she trusted me and opened up to me that she is thinking of poisoning the man. Since that is the only way she can be free from him. She said at least if she is a widow she would be allowed to leave. Immediately I told her to leave instead rather than having blood on her hands. Thankfully One day the man was not around she took her kids and ran away.

When you cheat you are turning your partner's love to hate and putting hatred in your partner's heart towards you and it is only a fool that lies down with two eyes closed when sleeping with an enemy.
Some men and women won't hurt you but how do you know who is who? I am sure the women who bought Aqua Tofana back then in the days all looked innocent and harmless.

  9. Reno Omokri is soro sokeing

If you wake up on a Monday morning and enter a train in London and its environs, you can hardly find two people talking to each other. Everyone avoids eye contact. There is silence. The only noise you hear is the choo choo-ing of the train. Very little human interaction.

The same thing happens on buses and the streets. It is as if people have been put in a trance-like state, and they become zombies heading off to different workplaces doing work that they don't like to get the money that they like. In fact, you will see the rat race on steroids.

Nobody has time for you. Each person is wrapped up in themselves. This cycle is repeated every working day. And then, at four in the evening, there will be a wave of people, all stoic and cold, moving in the other direction. Very soon, you find that it is hard to make friends. And even if it is possible, you may not be able to maintain friendships, as the work commute takes its toll on you.

As an African immigrant, this is your first culture shock. Then you become part of the system. You get a job, and your life revolves around it. You buy a house, and you take up a second job because the mortgage is something else.

Then your biological mother visits from Nigeria, and you can't even spend five unbroken hours with her, because you have to go to your second job soon after you finished your first job. You are not even aware that you have become more committed to the rat race than to your family.

And you are thirty. You will do this for the next thirty five years. Yes, you have a lot of things that people back in Africa do not have. But is life not more than things?

Don't take for granted the warmth, noise, the hustle and bustle, and the human connection you get in Africa. Even in a bus in Lagos, commuters are not strangers to each other. In the ninety minutes it takes for them to get to their destinations, they will 'gist' and have more interactions than you have had with your English neighbour since you moved next door to him.

Those are the little things that make life worth living, not material possessions that possess you to the extent that to keep them, you must stop living and become another fixture of the rat race.

What did the philosopher say again? Even if you win the rat race, you are still a rat!

If you japa, you may end up trading relational wealth for economic prosperity. And in the evening of your life, you may ask yourself, 'What did it profit me to gain the whole world and lose my soul to the rat race?'

    Is this IHN freestyle post?

    Let's touch on several topics.

Is Susu an enabler or is she sticking by her husband according to the vows through thick and thin? Isn't that what you recited?

What is this wave of renewing vows? What does that mean? Can someone enlighten me because I don't think I have the right perception towards it ?

How is life after japaing? Do you love it, do you regret it , are you going with the flow?

  36. 'Shuga Naija Season 5'. Not enjoying it as I did previous seasons. However, I'm learning new things about safe sex. For instance, I just found out that condoms come in sizes.

'Battle on Buka Street'. Enjoyed most of it, even though there was a lot of over-acting. Scripting had loop holes here and there but I chose to ignore cos I could feel part of the hard work that went into the movie. I felt Funke overworked herself though. Noticed she spear headed quite a number of prominent aspects behind the scenes. Left to me, I'd have played a less demanding character, do my behind the scenes work and given that role to Bimbo Ademoye or Wunmi Toriola. OR, I'd have taken the lead role and delegated more behind the scene jobs to capable hands. It showed in her delivery that she was overly-stressed. Cast that impressed me; Moshood Fattah, the lady that acted as Mercy Johnson's first daughter, Sani Danja (never seen him play a man in love and he killed it. He gave a mature performance), Femi Jacobs (that man is underrated. I respect his prowess). The veterans of course proved to be veterans indeed (besides some over-acting here and there).

'Ijakumo'. Enjoyed it much better than I did previous Toyin Abraham movies. Raunchy scenes generally putting me off, so I won't criticise the movie for that. I questioned the plot in a few parts (don't want to give spoilers). Struggled with balancing Kunle Remi's character as a pastor (though pseudo) with his dirty language. Olumide Oworu was a good choice to play KR's younger version. Kunle killed his role. Made me laugh at some points. The adverts were cringey. Wetin? Should have been done subtly. Fighting and gun-shot scenes were kindergarten-like. Overall, Toyin improved as a producer. There's room for growth.

    1. Toyin Abraham should go and learn from The Men's Club (TMC) how to do subtle advert. I haven't watched the movie and will try to watch but this complaint has been trailing her movies for some time now.

Meanwhile, where my TMC groupies at? I hear we are up for some TMC love very soon. Can't wait.

  37. Seems there is programmed distribution of πŸ„ and 🐏 to homes around some areas in Ikeja. Like some sort of compensation for job welldone. Truly, someone appreciates people who have been loyal to him. He takes good care of them. It is well. One day, Nigeria as a whole will be great. We all will celebrate in abundance and togetherness.

Barks de Sallah in advance everyone πŸ™ŒπŸ½
