Titanic Submersible Tragedy - All 5 Men On Board Confirmed ''Lost''

All the five men onboard a missing submersible near the wreck of the Titanic have been lost, according to Sub operator OceanGate.
The company confirmed this in a statement on Thursday.

“We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost,” it read.

It added that the “men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans.”
OceanGate also sent condolences to “every member of their families during this tragic time” while calling for privacy for them.

The confirmation came hours after a “debris field” was found by an underwater robot searching near the wreck of the Titanic for the missing submersible.

    1. May their souls rest in peace. But on a side note i wonder why rich people do all these risky adventures? Honestly it doesn’t make any sense why rich people do all these stupid activities like this and going on a space and they also sign a very detailed waiver to the company that makes the company not liable for any kind of casualty. Guess that is what too much money does to people

    2. Sad ending. I was really praying for a better ending. May their souls rest in peace. At least they died doing what they loved. Stockton Rush,Hamilton Harding and Henri Naugeolet were all avid adventurers who loved the sea...what better ending than to die in it? It's the young man who died with his father I really pity the most. His life was just starting and I heard he went only to please his father. Oh,his poor mother! Luckily, they didn't feel a thing as the death was pretty quick for them.

    1. Craziness! Period!!! Still puzzled why rich folk have all these daredevil adventures on their bucket lists

    2. I bet they asked themselves that when the alarm systems went off.

The poor migrants on the boats get lambasted right and left for enduring rough seas seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Rich ppl in a sealed tube get called adventurous for going into the bowels of the ocean doing something completely unnecessary, that will in no way improve their quality of life. This world is a very strange place.

People just consciously walked into their death?

Billionaire still join for this thing. Name he had made. Money he has.

  4. Very sad!! What kind of adventure is this? That man should never have embarked on that adventure with his son.
Some people are even implying there’s more to that titanic wreckage.
How can you pay a fortune on a journey of no return?
    May their souls find rest.

    1. If I was the son, I would've wanted to go too tho. It's just so sad that they died but if it had ended well, it'd have been very cool. I've always wanted to see the bottom of the ocean

    2. According to an aunt, the son didn’t want to go but the father wanted him to, so he went to make his father happy.

    3. At Anon 9.42. I’m right there with you regarding “He shouldn’t have gone with his son”. Reason why USA President and the Royal Family doesn’t travel together in the same aircraft

    1. I’ve been saying if someone had proposed that they used the 1 million dollars to transform the lives of 50-100 families they would have said hell no. Instead they spent it to go into a coke can to see a rusty wreck and didn’t even get to see it..

Despite this death trap mission, I cannot even begin to imagine their level of fear when they realized they would die and could not escape. That is if they even got a chance to say a prayer. They couldn’t even send an I love you message to anyone. I only hope their souls made it back to their creator.

    2. 11:03 I doubt there was time to feel fear. The sub imploded within a split second. Their death was quick

    3. Poor minded people always volunteering a budget for other people's money. Do people hiding from life in their basement not die? The glee why which you relish this sad occurrence is concerning. Please improve. May their souls rest in peace.

    4. 23:40, Which poor minded ppl volunteering a budget. Even the poor gets to have an opinion in this world, they may not get money but they sure as hell get a say because they are worthy of a life and their thoughts and views. They volunteered their lives on their own budget, they sure didn’t need anyone’s opinion of what they should do with themselves. Whether rich or poor who turns their life over to an xbox steering wheel to go see a rusting wreckage miles deep in the ocean that claimed the lives of 1500 souls?

Nobody relishing nothing, most ppl are simply amazed, especially when they saw what they actually went inside, the lack of hygiene facilities or any general comfort, forget the claustrophobia alone, but forced to sit crossed leg, not allowed to eat or drink much. It is shocking the experiences that ppl will pay for, just to say they did it because they had the money to. Folks are in shock!

  9. Water is too powerful and heavy for me to play with it. When it comes to water I don’t take chances. They underestimated the power of the ocean and paid too much to die. That young man just lost his life like nothing. Two generations of men wiped out like that. The father didn’t even have the wisdom to preserve his seed should anything happen to him. Something so simple he should have thought about, especially for being a supposedly intelligent person. He took that young man to his death.

  13. There is nothing spiritual about the Titanic abeg...they say curiosity kills the cat. leave dead things to be dead, focus on the living haba! now them don follow the dead waka. may their souls find the curiosity they craved in the next life.

    1. So many spiritual things about the Titanic, the owners of the Titanic dared God, that not even God could destroy it, anything involving God the supreme being is spiritual and life is more spiritual than you think, you can't dare God and go free.
God destroyed that ship due to the foolishness of the makers, and people still have the mind to go and be touring a wreck that underwent the wrath of God, that place is a sacred ground on its own and should be left alone.
It's like you've not read the Bible, especially Exodus and Kings, observe how God punish those that disobeyed him, even his own the Israelites weren't spared

    2. Even the oceangate founders felt they were above everything, due processes were not followed to create that thing. See how cramped it was sef claustrophobia will never allow me attempt that

  14. The ocean itself is a force. It was a risky move any way... Even submarines don't go that deep.

  15. Whether rich or poor or anything in-between, these are souls, they have worth, families that love them and beyond worried. My heart hurts for the families that are praying for a miracle but unfortunately nowhere to be found. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

  16. "Curiosity killed the cat" is a proverb used to warn of the dangers of unnecessary investigation or experimentation. RIP to the dead men.

In their next life if dem see water na straight run, them go even fear to bath sef
