  1. You can't be living in penury, yet popping out kids every year. ร– wrong nau! ๐Ÿ˜ก
The same Bible that said "Be fruitful and multiply", also admonishes us to "Be wise as serpents". Please, no matter how obsessed you are with kids, give birth to the number you can ADEQUATELY cater for. Your kids deserve the best.
And don't even think anyone is going to help you raise your kids. It is your SOLE responsibility! No come put others under pressure because of your own 'doings'.
Na God dey give pikin. True. But na man and woman dey do wetin dey bring pikin.

    1. God's willing, I think three is ideal to me ooo even though Madam said four. Nigeria economy no be where person suppose they think of six or seven unless you're a criminal politician.

We are eight but then things were good at the time and can't be compared to today Nigeria.

    2. Teejay: Make una decide now o. When I met my wife, number of kids was one of the first things we talked about, and agreed on. It was 2 then, God has given us the 2 now, and it will stay that way God willing. Even if I have Dangote's wealth tomorrow, best I can do, is sponsor other kids.
Breaks my heart to see people bring kids into the world, just because, "I love kids" or "my father born us plenty. I want make my children get siblings to play with". Not even minding whether they have the wherewithal to cater for them. Plus, it's not always about money. Children take a LOT from parents - physically, spiritually, materially etc.
Wisdom is profitable to direct Las Las....

Let her start first, no be you go tell her say four is too much.
Before marriage, I also wanted a full house with four or five kids. After I had the first one, I knew immediately that I had to die that idea. I have two kids, all girls and we are good.

    2. It beats my imagination to see that some well meaning Children of God see nothing wrong in these actions.
      ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

""The family of the late Deborah Samuel has cried out that they need assistance as things are not rosy for them in Port Harcourt.".
Whereas some bvs claimed that they never complained to the church.

"As regards the new car that was promised, it was discovered to be a second-hand car that had seen better years and was now abandoned due to faults."
And some people are comparing this to the kind of charity work that Stella does? You people are heartless for calling this family entitled. Lol, they say Deborah's Parents should be grateful to God that a car as bad as this was given to them. ๐Ÿ˜ณ You mean you have never seen what people with problem vehicle go through? You think there is any fixing in this world that can ever bring back that car to a good shape? Your whole savings and that of your wife will finish trying to fix the car. The fauts develop weekly even after changing the engine .

"I was using it as a taxi before but it has some challenges and I have parked it. The first time OPM brought us to Port Harcourt they brought food items to us. After that first time, we have been struggling on our own.
      ๐Ÿ‘†
Food was brought just once and some defenders say it was a continuous supply of food .

"Right from the day OPM gave me this car, the car has been developing faults. On the first day I tried to take my children to school the car broke down on its way back. We towed the car back." "

If people who are Christians see these things and feel it's Ok to treat people this way then the Christianity religion really has a big question mark. What do you people really go to do in church if your hearts are this hardened despite your regular church attendance?

    3. Slim Shaddy the average Nigeria is hypocritical bereft of human feelings or empathy. If you want to help, help well. From Niger to PH, change of environment and you think it is that easy. Some people just lack empathy and emotional intelligence. When it comes to religion, all sense of reasoning flies out of the window. Once a pastor is called out for wrong doings, everyone is up on arms to the teeth to always attack but they forget that Peter was called out by other apostles in the bible.

  7. DEVELOPING PATIENCE (4)

God's Spirit makes us...peaceful, patient.' Galatians 5:22 CEV

You will notice that in listing the fruit of the Spirit, patience comes right after peace. Why? Because when you have peace in your heart, practically nothing can cause you to feel impatient. But these qualities are the fruit of the Spirit, not the effort of the flesh. You can't psych yourself up and say, 'I'm going to be patient if it kills me.' If it is the genuine fruit of the Spirit, you will have genuine inner peace, and certain circumstances won't bother you the way they used to. Why? Because you are depending on the Lord.

Patience is a kind of faith. It says, 'I trust God. I believe he is bigger than this problem. I believe he has his hand in these irritations and can use them in my life for good.' Frustration says, 'Why did this happen?' Faith says, 'God, what do you want me to learn here?' Abraham was 100 years old when his second son, Isaac, was born. That's a long time to be patient. The toughest kind of waiting occurs when you are in a rush and God is not.

It's hard to be patient when you're waiting for an answer to prayer: for God to change your financial condition, or your health problem, or your family problem, or that relative who bothers you. Being patient is both the evidence of your faith and the test of your faith. It's at such times that God whispers, 'Be still, and know that I am God' (Psalm 46:10 NKJV); in other words, 'I'm in control, I have a better plan, I'm working things out for your good!'

  11. Some people are in business but know nothing about customer service/relationship. Worst thing is, they make money, so they don't see the need to treat their customers well.

We bought a blender last week, and it was tested before we left. We asked if we could bring it back if anything goes wrong and were assured we could come back. We didn't use the blender when we got home because there was nothing to blend. So we wanted to blend tomatoes on Saturday, and the blender didn't work at all. We tried all we could and it didn't work. We took it back and one of the workers told us to meet the Oga as he's the only one who can listen to our compliant. On meeting the Oga, he said he does not collect anything that has left his shop, ha! When we tried to express our disappoint at the fact that we couldn't even use the blender at all, he said he does not like repeating himself and that he has said what he has said ๐Ÿ˜ณ. When we started talking at first, at a point he said "you don't talk when i'm talking" ๐Ÿ˜ณ

While we were still trying to internalize the shock, another customer came to tell him that he will be doing a transfer for something he bought. He asked the customer how much he wanted to transfer and it seemed that was not the amount he asked him to pay.

  21. Can you believe this man told the customer "My friend will you go and drop that thing!" ๐Ÿ˜ณ. when I saw that we were wasting our time, I told him we already told someone to come and check out things to buy in his place but with the way he's going how can we comfortably tell someone to come. He said "I don't depend on that, customers will always come" ๐Ÿคฆ. This is the most ridiculous statement i have heard from a business person. Even multinational brands are still doing aggressive advertising and depend on referrals and one person at one corner of somewhere is saying he doesn't depend on referrals? I further told him we are all business people and encounter customers on a daily basis. As such, customer relationship is very Important. He said he doesn't know the kind of business I do and how I relate with my customers is my business. At this point, I knew there was no need, we had to leave, took the blender to a repairer and spent money repairing it.

I know there are lots of nasty people who don't know how to treat their customers but this one takes the crown. If he could command a male customer to go and drop what he bought, who knows, he might as well give we ladies a resounding slap. It's people like him that when their business crumbles, they will blame imaginary village people when they're the number one village people doing themselves.

Excited Courtesy ๐Ÿค” this is another angle I didn't think of.
Exactly Pearl, but very bad business move.
Phoenix & Morayo, the first thing that came to my mind was his workers, people around him, especially his wife. Poor woman, who knows what she may be going through.
Fatee, I know someone too who does same thing. In his case, his boys killed him because he wasn't giving them a fare share of the loot.
Anon 09:05 & Slim Shaddy, very valid point because I was wondering how any reasonable person will talk down on their customers when your customers are the reason you're in business.

I was so shocked but I feel better now because I have repaired the blender. Even if it wasn't possible to change it, at least talk in a way that will melt your customer's heart. Things get spoilt, and if you can't share the risk with your customer, you let them know politely but no...

Hi @Anon 08:31;๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚thanks a lot for the advice..

    9. Good to know about this from you Martins.

First, it was land bought by them and some rented. No compensation of whatsoever. There was demolition and one unfortunate being I intentionally don't want to respond to here said it is an old and dilapidated building that killed a 15yrs boy but you just said some are newly built. So you see how people lie here all the time to counter my narrative and the reason I hardly engage some persons here.

Secondly, if they're demolishing cos of the canal, then why sell people's land to a company that is been alleged owned by the Chinese to still build malls and shops there? Is the Canal no longer there?

You even showed them catalogue of the new market to be built and their prices. What other evidence do you need to know this isn't pure vindictive act by the government and also outright dispossession of one's property.

Cross the dots together, revocation process had just begun on non indigene.

  28. Establish And Extend His Kingdom!!
    Mathew 6:33.

    Excerpts!!

"In our walk with God, it’s important to always keep in focus our purpose in the earth; why are we here? Our primary purpose is to establish and extend the Kingdom of God to the ends of the earth."

"God's will is always done in heaven, but in the earth, only God’s people can pray His will into manifestation."

"So, in prayer, speak forth salvation in your city, your state and in your country. Pray that righteousness fills the land and the Gospel has free course and is glorified, resulting in a massive harvest of souls into the Kingdom."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, your Kingdom reigns and is established in the earth, and in the hearts of men as the Gospel is proclaimed around the world today. The light of the Gospel shines evermore in all nations, resulting in great testimonies of salvation, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  40. I now understand that my sister in law will never change, I have told her things and later get to hear them from my brother. It now shows that is my topic she and her husband get to discuss when I am not there, she has apologize several times but still she keep repeating the same thing.

I just told her I wasn't having money to borrow her cos I fixed my cash. At that time I fixed my cash but when my dad health issue came up I have to break the fix for his treatment. So on Tuesday I was talking to my brother about something that I needed money to take care of only for my brother to tell me sabi I fix some money in the bank I should take it and do what I want to do. I told him money that I have already removed and use it for papa's health, that what is left is little. I asked him who told him but he was just mute about it. It wasn't a chat I told her but a call we spoke when she was asking me to lend her money to sort out somethings.

I want to see her this weekend or call her yo tell her yo avoid me, she should respect my space and stay in her husband's house and keep off from me. How can I tell her things and she will discuss it with her husband. Is only her I spoke to about that fixed deposit thing and for my brother to say it is coming from her. I am fone talking to her anything, no more gist, na greeting join us from now henceforth. She will not understand me again.

SDK, have you seen the news where a pastor in Assembly of God's church raped a minor domestic worker? He has been sleeping with the girl since 2022 when she was just 12.
This kind of thing is the reason why some people become atheists. That girl may grow up to become an atheist as a result. May God judge all those who molest kids.

  51. I follow politics closely especially where I reside. One thing I have noticed is that once a political party are in power, and prices begin to rise, Mortgage interest rates skyrocket and inflation goes up, that party gets blamed, and I bet you in the next election they will surely lose. Now I speak of Politics (mostly in the West) This may not be the case in some Western countries though. However, following the politics in Africa, especially Nigeria, I have observed that the reverse is the case. The same party in power under which people suffered, and are made even poorer is the same party that will most likely win the next election, either by hook or crook. One can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result, even common sense tells you that. All I can do is wish Nigerians well, you lot will need alot of prayers to survive the coming weeks.
