ReplyDeleteI was handling a job at the building of the brother to the former Governor of Delta State, Okowa. A young man came to the site and wanted to see him as to discuss his craft and see if he will get the job done.
As they were discussing, the young man asked the governor's bro if he's Igbo and he responded no but Delta. The young man is also from Delta and exclaimed wow. He told him he's from Delta too and further inquired the village in Delta. The Gov bro mentioned his place and the young man shouted ''Okowa'' for that's the community of the ex governor. He didn't know the man he's talking to is Okowa's brother. I was just like in my mind praying he won't say anything bad about the former governor.
He began singing the praises of the former governor and what he did for his people and community. He talked so nice about him.
Eventually, he later got the job.
Few days later, he approached me and said, ''Do you know Oga na Okowa brother?'' I answered him yes and he said he just found out. Next thing I said to him was, ''What if you had said something bad the other day. Would you have gotten this job?''
Life!!!!!
Diplomacy is the key to everything we do here on earth.

1) Get original honey.
2) Get an empty clean container not too big not too small (a sizeable one). a tea cup will do
3) If your hair is long put 3-4 teaspoons of the original honey into the empty container. If you have low cut 1-2 teaspoons is okay.

I'm not biased but most of these messes could be avoided if the other gender were to exercise a bit of self control and self discipline. It should be normal attributes for all. It won't hurt to be contented with what you have or your choice. A married person have more responsibilities than a single person. They have a family to protect. You can't blame others for disrespecting your family while you act single.

Instead of religious leaders to say the pure truth about the implications, which are diseases and pregnancy, they are installing fear of spiritual implications that doesn't exist. So when people do it without seeing any spiritual implications, they carry on and spread the news.
There is no spiritual implications for cheating. Except in some cases where some rituals are carried out to attack a woman who cheat in some villages.

I am just asking an innocent question. For a country that should be cutting cost, they are renaming airports. What's the cost implication? Changing stationery, letter headed papers, sinages, bill boards, account names, and all what's not. The vicious circle of unnecessary expenditure continues.

A church member at a small church (I don't want to mention the name of the church) at Iyana-Ipaja died. I am sure if other members of the church read this blog and see this comment they can attest to this. It happened two months ago.
ReplyDeleteAnyways this person died and you know news travel fast so one after the other the church members started hearing about it. Little was it known she would come back. But that same day she woke up. On Sunday she came to give testimony.
The scary part was not her coming back but what she said she saw. Truly, there is life after death. This is why I wonder why people live like they won't die and face their creator for judgement someday.
Anyways, she said she saw two roads. One was narrow and one was wide. Very wide and thousands even millions of people (they were plenty like sand)were on that wide road and sadly the wide road led to.....
The narrow road was empty with no one passing through it or walking on it and that was the road that led to Heaven.
She said she overheard the angels saying,' If only we can see just one person, only one person to walk on this narrow road and come to us into heaven".
She said she was turned back and that it was not yet her time. So she came to tell the church to repent because heaven and hell are real.
To fellow blog visitors, Instead of always coming up with silly arguments to disarm people who correct us in love to desist from sin and shouting "Everybody sins, Jesus assistance, judgina and what's not", when we are chastised in love let us thrive to live a holy life. Have it in mind when you are corrected it is done out of love for your soul and out of love for Christ because it doesn't affect anyone whether you go to heaven or not if they are thriving to live a holy life and you are not. At the end of the day, it is your soul!
I wonder what those who weren't given second chances would say for God to show them mercy, would they tell him, "Everybody sins" Would God understand such excuses?

That was how one told us then in secondary school that a guy went for morning preaching, got back tired and slept off. He woke up late and the time for the exam was over. He later found out that an Angel wrote the exam for him. When the result was out, he made A1s in his exams.
