Not long after they lodged, at about 3:30pm, Pastor Danny shot his wife twice in the presence of the kids and turned the g*n on himself, firing once.
The wife suffered some wounds at her abdomen and arm. She is presently at the ICU.
Pastor Danny is also in the hospital but in a stable condition. No one knows the reason for the Pastor’s action.
A week to the incident, he still posted his wife on her birthday, calling her 'my queen' and 'the woman that I love and owe my life to'. When he is discharged from the hospital, he will be charged with multiple felonies.
Their children are now under the custody of The Child Protective Services.''

Speedy recovery to the wife.
The energies of evil appears to be more persistent than every before. Folks have to be so self aware and conscious of their thoughts at all times. One thing I learned from a non-religious book of spirituality is that not every thought that comes in your head is your own and not every dream is true. You must rebuke thoughts and dreams that you could not have been birth in you.
ReplyDeleteThe energies of evil have been upon this earth for millions if not billions of years, they know humans better than humans know themselves. No little 40 years of life is going to overpower them easily. Some demons will work on one person for years, some will work on every member of the family until they get what they want. Demons don’t need sleep, they are not going to die quickly, they have time and time in abundance to put their plans in motion and see it through.
May the wife make and full and complete recovery and the children get good mental health care. I hope they are in a safe home, because the foster care system is another hellhole that the devil has taken over.

If only men can confront their wives over every suspicion or proof of a hideous crime committed against them, instead of holding it in; then developing a deep hatred and thinking how to eliminate them or even score, many marriags will be better
ReplyDeleteI get your point and agree that men should share. But why assume the victim is at fault? What if he wanted money or another woman? Some marriages end because people are tired or want something else. Unfortunately, some choose death because it's cheaper for them.

DeleteMy point is, why will a man just wake up one day and decide to shoot his wife out of the blues?. There must have been some misconceptions, assumptions which he never discussed with her, but nurtured the hurt and hatred till it degenerated to this.
And this seems to be common with most men.

DeleteHe may actually want to kill her to claim insurance or in order to marry another woman or in this case, he may be tired of being married and wants to die. Lastly, he may have mental health problem.

ReplyDeleteGo to your market square, pick the mad man there and clothe him. Give him a Bible. If he starts rattling nonsense, followers will show. Pastorpreneurship is an unregulated profession. Any charlatan can be a pastor. Recently most Nigerian adults in US (nurses and other professions) are pastors (with no training). Our tendency to abuse anything is unmatched. Case example is the Guiness World Record madness.
