  1. Some would use emotional blackmail, some would pretend and when you ask them they would reply "Yee!! I totally forgot o. Please send your details now now,I will revert"...one month later you still dey wait.It is well with them.

  2. One still owe me money for things she bought since lastyear december.initially she was blaming it on the network issue as at that time. Later she made it known to me it was her husband who would pay,i called husband,he asked for account number, with the hope that my money will be paid still nothing till date

And because we do not stay in the same town,i had nothing much to hold on them except to rant, which yielded nothing.

Right now she has blocked me,and i also stopped calling her husband but God dey sha.My sweat...

Funny enough I always recover in ways I can't explain.
The last two, very shocking stunts they pulled same night a bestie called to say there's a hotel that needs refurbishing, 80duvets in diagonal quilt prints and 180 besheets in bold envelope pillowcases with double half inch hems, can your boys handle it?
I dived it. Delivery is on July 2nd after final supervision, thank God for video calls and conferencing.
I don't lend money to men and if it's a struggling woman,I forgo.
    God has his ways.

    2. Lol, anon 16:02 she is trying to say that once people borrow from her and don't pay back, God will give her job to recover the money.
Two people borrowed from her and refused to pay back and she got the bedsheets job that covered the money she lent to her friends.

P.S: I have to read the comment multiple times to get the memo. Lol

  4. She owes me close to a 100k. I didn't give her once.
We work in the same office, same GL.
    This happened way b4 covid - 19.
The 1st loan was 400k for house rent. It was the year I had my small madam who is 10yo now.
    She paid back 350k.
Then please help me with money to buy baby food and diapers. That baby turned 6yo in January.
Another time, please I am in the market, low on cash, atm not working blah blah blah. I sent it.
The last time, she claimed she wanted to pay her daughter's school fees, she was short 20k.
She showed me screenshot of the alert from the person who had promised to send her money, till today nothing.
This is aside 500h and 200h here and there o.

One time, we received an alert, oya do transfer for me now, she goes relax, let it cool down in my account.
I go on a quick errand by the time I return she claimed that she had paid another colleague she bought clothes from

I simply told her that she is taking me for a fool, and I will never ask her for the money again.
Several years later, I never asked, she never paid nor apologized. We still talk but shehas never asked me for loan again.
One of them stories but God has been faithful to me

  6. I know my friends that don't pay back loan. I don't bother borrowing them money. I can only dash them money if I am buoyant at the time they make their request.

  7. I called a friend the other day to say hello, I know that she owes me, but the tension in her voice during the call. It was only after she realized that I wasn’t going to ask about the money that she finally relaxed. Folks be funny

  10. As an undergraduate I was working in a hotel earning 25k, a colleague of mine said she needed money to sort out some ish I think she needed 30k or so can’t remember the amount, as soon as we were paid salary I counted 15k out of my 25k and gave her, I didn’t remove my tithe. By the end of the next month she gave me 5k, I stopped working at the hotel she didn’t pay the balance. A year later I called her to remind her to pay me back cos I fell on hard times she said some things that pained me and I just left her. Four years down the line I don’t bother chatting with her I’ve even blocked her because she keeps attacking me of viewing her status and not comment, she refused to talk about my balance.

    Eezi

  11. There is this idiot of a man that pleaded with me to lend him 10k to buy drugs for his child. Out of the goodness of my heart I told him I had just 5k for him because i had a lot of expenses going on.

He said he would pay back after they paid Salary, a few days later they paid Salary and I reminded him.He told me he would pay it that same morning I reminded him. Three days later, he is yet to pay. This is someone that is a womanizer and drinks a lot.

The money i lent him is not what is paining me,but the fact that he didn't keep to his words. He was probably lying about his child being sick but my conscience would not allow me be hence the reason why I gave 5k( an amount I could forgo) because I had it at the back of my mind that he wouldn't pay back.

This same man has gotten money from me at different times( like 500, 1k ). We have terrible humans, I won't ask him for the money again because I can't roll in the mud with him. He would soon meet his Waterloo someday with his pathetic lifestyle.
