Protest in DELSU Over Death Of Undergraduate

An Undergraduate reportedly died at the Delta state University medical centre and there is currently protest by the Students of the University and they allege they are protesting because the medical team did not do what it was supposed to do and this led to the death of the young man who died in his mums presence.....

If the protest continues the students risk being sent home....
Is there any student that can tell us what really happened?

  3. The Vc just addressed the students and he gave them one week lecture free so the authorities can investigate the matter.
As to what happened he was taken to the health center on Friday and he was attended to, Saturday morning he wasn’t getting better and he was been referred to another hospital but the health center delayed in taking him because it was alleged that they didn’t have fuel in the ambulance, and he was carried in a private car to Warri and he died on arrival at the hospital. The boy died of nonchalant attitude from the health center workers and there have been different reports from different students, one even said she had ulcer and she was been treated for malaria and typhoid and it was in her records that she has ulcer.

    2. What an abomination. If this is indeed true, an institution of higher learning not having fuel in their ambulance of all vehicles. Yet, they are going to educate students on running the world, when they can’t even run a medical centre properly. They have no clear plan on dealing with high priority cases. Trash
