I have a very bad habit that my hubby and kids know me for..I get tired of things easily and no matter how expensive it is, i always dash it out... The guy i gave it to nearly fainted sef but i felt good giving him.i need to search for another one today or this week, the heat is nobodys friend at all...

PINKYS CORNER
Wedding Brohaha
On Saturday, I went to a friend's wedding along old Ife road and I was his best man. This my friend came from Lagos on Friday to my place so we can plan for Saturday. We got to the venue around 11am but program never start.na Muslim wedding shaaa(Nikhai).

We thought about where to stay pending the time the program will begin..So, we went to a nearby bar but we never knew it was Bar and Ile Ahawo but what can we do..We sat down(we were about 6 including the groom himself). They began to order for Origin, Tiger etc. Me just jejely ordered for cold malt and sent one of the attendant to get me milk which I used to mix the malt while others were busy sipping down their BEER. At about 1:30pm, we were called to start coming, naso we all left the place.

The program started and as you all know how the process dey be now. naso everything go oooo. It got to where  we were to prostrate hmmmmm, we did the first one, we went for the second one, the alaga iduro was about giving us instructions on how to go about the third one when one of the groom's friend collapsed because the sun was much. Though, we don't know what caused it(may be na beer abi stress). We began to look for a way to revive this guy before wahala go happen. This wahala was much because both the groom's and the bride's parents were running around and wedding program was paused.

A nurse was called and she came attending to him at one corner we placed him after we had poured alot of water on him. The bride's father came asking us how he is feeling when the bride's mother rushed down to that same place, she was about to talk when the husband shouted at her. He asked her to keep quiet because he warned her not to do an elaborate wedding, he told them to only do a parlour event and allow the children to go but she refused and went behind him to arrange all this nonsense with her daughter. The man said "Mo gbadua ki o ma pada jebi nitori, mo ri loju ala mo si kilo fun e sugbon eti e di" (meaning, I pray you won't find ursef to be blamed because I saw this happening in my dream and I warned you not to plan an elaborate wedding but you refused).

At last, he was able to stand on his feet and was taken to a nearby hospital for attention. I was thinking the wedding karamo will continue but to my greatest surprised, the bride's father ordered the Alphas to take over from where alaga iduro stopped. He said they should only advice the couple and pray for them anything aside from that, he will put off the generator himself. When I was told about this decision,  infact, I just dey look. They did as instructed, prayed for the two of them and that was the end of the wedding event. We friends began to help the new couples to put their loads into the bus they brought from Lagos and after everything,I left the place and went home directly. How the couples got a car that took them to Lagos is what I don't know but called my friend around 11pm and he said they are already in Lagos.

Thanking God for making it a success because it would have been something else if we were unable to revive the guy and death took him away.

Pinky your new neighbours nko? you never go salute dem?
Hmm as for that man ending his daughters wedding abruptly i dont know what to say, the wife should have heeded his warning .....

Pinky how your new area? lol

Unlocking the Secrets of Retinol

Retinol na wetin dem dey call game-changer in the skincare world. With its remarkable ability to reduce fine lines, improve skin texture, and promote a more even complexion, it's no wonder that retinol is one of the most effective anti-aging solutions and highly sought after. Retinol no be wetin dem dey use anyhow. You need to understand how to use am, before you start using it.

How to use retinol effectively:

1. Start Slowly: If you're new to retinol, it's important to introduce it gradually into your skincare routine. Begin by applying it every other night, and as your skin adjusts, gradually increase the frequency to nightly use.

2. Use Sun Protection: Retinol can increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Always apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

3. Moisturize: Retinol can cause dryness and irritation, especially during the initial stages of use. Combat this by using a hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin nourished and balanced.

4. Pair with Gentle Products: Avoid using harsh exfoliants or other active ingredients, such as benzoyl peroxide or alpha hydroxy acids, alongside retinol. Instead, opt for gentle cleansers and hydrating serums to maintain the skin's barrier function.

When incorporating retinol into your skincare routine, starting slowly and your skin would thank you for it.
Until next time, remain beautiful, my people.

You didnt indicate which types of Retinol to buy......

    1. I am livid this afternoon
This government doesn’t know what they are doing and that’s just it
You can’t keep pulling stunts here and there without providing any kind of cushion for the so called masses you claim to care about.

Who wakes up and makes policies without even setting a time frame, it’s giving dictatorship rather than democracy. Even the uk that needed to stop people from bringing dependents dint just cut people off like that. They gave the people already in the process a time frame to adjust.
Fx is having mad issues and it’s affecting businesses which in turns affects the masses daily bread, you said “let the poor breathe” yet you are choking them constantly.

Electricity tariff has gone up again with about 40percent, 1K will be only able to buy 10 units. Out of the same salary o, Haba even if you don’t have a heart.
Everywhere the common man looks he is being suppressed.

Stop making policies without a cushioning effect, it’s a dangerous game.
I don’t want to hear “it’s all for the greater good” because if that’s what they were going for they should have slashed government officials salaries in half, that’s what a thinking government would do.

The fact that I will always have food to eat doesn’t mean everyone will, I just left the market and people cannot afford to eat meals, it’s a sad situation.
Nigeria has the highest “out of school children” there’s flood again taking place and no provision yet again.
      How long would people continue?

    2. Push up, it's so sad and annoying, honestly. It's like we are on our own. What is the essence of being governed when we will practically do everything for ourselves? Which one government go bear inside? This is not making any sense, gaskia.

27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.

28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.

29 And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid.

30 And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.

  50. Please, Economics savvy BVs tell me, has the Naira been devalued? If so what is the short and long term gain(s) if any?? What policies have or should have been put in place to cushion the effect on the Nigerian populace?? Pls these are valid questions so I need very valid and reasonable answers.
