  2. Ramen or Indomie instant Noodles are NOT considered good food anywhere in the world . Cheap, yes! A whole box in the US is about the cost of just one pack of non instant noodles.

The way NAFDAC is desperately trying to exclude the ones produced in Nigeria as if there are consumer groups and independent parties that have tested it reeks of corruption. Eat non instant noodles if you must eat noodles regularly. Just look at it when it’s raw, it looks highly processed and unhealthy. Madam at NAFDAC remember you are supposed to be born again o!

    1. My mom never cooked them for me so I don’t eat them even now. But for ppl with very low incomes they are oftentimes the only affordable thing they can access. There is absolutely nothing healthy about them like you stated, but the carbs will convert to glucose and allow the cells to receive energy to keep the structure moving.

Community gardens and food cooperatives really need to take off in Nigeria.

  3. So it even contains mycotoxins! According to WHO "Mycotoxins can cause a variety of adverse health effects and pose a serious health threat to both humans and livestock. The adverse health effects of mycotoxins range from acute poisoning to long-term effects such as immune deficiency and cancer."

    1. Almost every processed food contains some bullshit in it. Even the healthy food is questionable since many farmers are using chemicals and farming using unethical practices. Vegans out here getting cancer and lamenting how is it possible. Now we will be dealing with lab meat and seafood soon. Only God can deliver us. Who have land better start farming something.

  4. One can no longer cook indomie the normal way and it comes out sweet. If you don't add all them carrots and vegetables, it will be tasteless.
