    2. Pick up a printed copy of the GBWR and you'll see how numerous records are set yearly and then broken and how flimsy many of them are. Thousands compete over the world and lose for winners to emerge. Hilda cannot copyright this category. Every successor bears witness to the pacesetter.

    3. Good one Arole. Christ Embassy has been on Pray-a-thon since March 2020 and still waxing stronger...over 3 years non stop prayer.

    4. I've been wondering why Hilda's confirmation seems to be dragging unlike Kaffi's GWR dance record. Just read that they did not have any GWR adjudicator present at Hilda's attempt. With all the preparations and sponsorship, they didn't know they needed one to ensure all the rules were met so she will easily be recognized if she succeeds in breaking the record? Even the sponsors did not know? For the amount that was spent, it's silly IMO to rely only on independent witnesses.

  3. But Stella shebi you said it's a good thing that everyone has now decided that Guinness world records is their new career.
Nigerians so lack originality, individuality and creativity. When they see something going good for someone is when they decide that that must be their own path to success.

This also permeates other aspects of their life. My husband's friend called him to borrow money from him to sort issues, my husband said that he has a lot of financial obligations at this time, including an MBA program he's running. The very same week, this friend calls my husband back to tell him he's been now looking into MBA programs. But oga you just wanted to borrow money 3 days ago and you had no plans for MBA then. Hian!

Same way I took an acquaintance to a place where I buy stuff. This place requires a membership. While there, I bought frames for my prescription lens. Some weeks later I see her with exact same frames in same color. Ahnahn... You bought the exact same frames as me when we don't have the same face shape or characteristics? And there were others that would have fit you better...It was funny. What surprised me was that I had been offering her that if she ever needed anything from this store, I could help her buy since she didn't have a membership not knowing she had already got one and she never mentioned. Thst part just made me feel foolish.

Anyways, nigerians well done, since you have saturated the blogging, skit making and YouTube spaces and have now decided GWR is next. GWR will soon ban you all.

    3. I give such people space, when I was younger I dint used to notice it was a problem but all of a sudden the competition became toxic
Funny enough I don’t do things cus others are doing them, I believe in doing things at your own pace.
She even got a membership without telling you and she probably has other things going for her she will never tell you about cus in her little mind she doesn’t want you to pass her.

      Push up (original)

    4. So true Anon 16:55.. To some persons everything is about competition.. Am not saying I don't like people following in my footsteps but what pains most is how they will work hard to get there (as to challenge me or rub it onmy face) and when they are there they just mess things up and turn it into one big joke..

    1. This is not the first time a Nigerian will offer to participate (and go on to win) in GWR. Hilda has not even been cleared yet.

  9. The truth about the whole is that when you have an idea, don't ever think you are the only one that received the idea.
Some don't just have the courage to start and once they see somebody start and make success out of it they are gingered to start their own.

Many might have also been considering blogging even before you start just that they are procastinating or lack of courage. However, how we go about it now bring out our uniqueness and I must say you are unique Stella and you have grown to a level that you now inspire many.

That you spare head something doesn't mean other shouldn't do it or wouldn't do and once their is a demand for something there will always be a supply. I'm aware there is a negative side to this also but Nigerians love taking things to the extreme, leave the young girl alone, she is still growing and she will understand life better as she grows.
You don't even have to support her cos I don't even know her social media handle but people should learn how not to complicate life jare. She might not even be that exposed,we can't all think alike.

    1. Thank you, 17:54. The competition in the blogosphere has also brought loads of improvement and specialization to the space. Despite so many entrants, those who couldn't carve a niche or preserve customer base have fizzled out. Current la ni, no be champion.
