  1. A lot of people cut off EVERY FORM of communication with their Exes, once they get married.
Well, I respect people's opinions. But for me, it doesn't make any sense to stop talking to an Ex, just because I got married. Of course, there will be boundaries, and any sensible ex should know that. But the truth about life is, that Ex you are cutting off, may be VITAL to you tomorrow - Job, Life Saving Medical Help, Opportunities, Recommendations etc...
The exes you should cut off completely in my opinion, are those ones that still want you desperately, or the very emotional ones. Run!
But personally, I don't believe in burning bridges, and cutting en ex off completely, especially the one wey get sense.

    2. I should let you know, women are emotional beings, a man can do things wtout attaching any emotions to it, but a woman, rara, if there is constant communication, at some point, one wud start catching feelings, n it’s usually the women that start. Shey we read them here all the time. ‘Bvs, my husband is a good man but i fell in love with my married ex, before u ask, he was not ready back then, but now he is doing well and has changed into a very good man, what do i do? No insults pls’
This is for the women in ur life, both ur ex and ur wife.

Well in as much as I agree with you, some or let say most need to just be gone cos of this statement 'if not for me,you wouldn't get that job' and so on..some ex are so vindictive, they go on to tell the whole world how they've been supportive and all that

    5. Hmmmmmm

Ali B, sunny day aiki...I beg to be so different on this issue.

Yes, it's cool to just be in a talking terms with ur ex but do you know if you don't actually stop talking to them, one thing might led to another because women are created differently and they tend to achieve whatever they determine to.

You talked about life opportunities, it's a great thing but what if the opportunities comes in with conditions? Have u not met or you tell me you have not dated a lady who is as desperate as devil himself? They use or look for every opportunity to get back at you...When u have such as ex, my brother, the sure bet is to stop talking to them .

      Allah ye tema ka

    8. Paris and Pinky: very true. Vindictive, desperate and manipulative exes should be kept at arms and legs length ooo.
My post is about exes that have sense. Plenty of it. They don't think less of you, they want the best for you without any strings or conditions and they are genuinely happy for you. Now, that's the kinda ex I'm talking about. And they abound. Plenty sef!

  2. Meditate On The Word Day And Night!!
    Joshua 1:8.

    Excerpts!!

"Following what the Lord told Joshua, if you’d meditate on the Word as you should, you’d be propelled to do what the Word says."

"Meditating on the Word will give you an understanding, a motivation, and an inspiration to do what God wants you to do. Practice this for at least half an hour every day."

"Psalm 1:1-3 further tells us the overwhelming blessings this will produce in your life: you’ll be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life; never dry, never fainting, but ever blessed and unendingly prosperous."

    Prayer!!

As I meditate on the Word, the forces of success, prosperity and divine health are activated in my life; I'm transformed from glory to glory through the propelling power of the Word! I make progress with giant strides, and my progress is evident to all as I deal wisely in the affairs of life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

    1 Timothy 4:15; Joshua 1:8 AMPC; Psalm 1:1-3

  18. Greetings great people. Let me gist una what I heard yesterday πŸ™πŸ™.
I was on transit to a near by state yesterday. After boarding a vehicle. I sat beside a young lady with cute twins and an infant of about 4years. Immediately I entered. The lady pleaded with me to help her carry one of the twins which I gladly accepted. As the journey progressed. She made a call and her conversation went as follows in igbo.
Babe I have left that useless man. I am on my way with my boys to a new place and see what I will do with my life. The receiver shouted JESUS. Why nah. How did you get money to.travel? She laughed and told her she has thought the man a lesson he will never forget. She said she brought clearance buyers to the house last week and told them they want to relocate to Lagos where her husband stays as he got a new job there. The husband asked her to sell of the things as she can't go through the stress of carrying load up and down with the children coupled with this fuel increasment and transportation fare. They agreed on the price of the properties, date and time for pickup. Her husband had no idea of all her plans. Yesterday immediately her husband left for work, she called the clearance man to come and pick his things. They packed all tangible things in the house. Television, chairs, tabletop cylinder etc. Immediately they left, she broke her sim and carried her children to the park. She told the receiver that she will hold her accountable if anyone calls her because no one knows this her new number except her. The receiver was busy shouting ha ha ha. Even me I did not know when I shouted JESUS and the lady looked at me and ignored me. From the things she said. She was working before she got married and the man asked her to stop the job which she did. The man's mother who lives few kilometers from them started controlling her home. He husband takes instructions from her before he does anything for them. The mother inlaw is the one that goes to market and stock their home monthly. She dare not complain. This life, there are some people you don't mess with because you will live to regret it. Throughout that journey, I was not myself. So many things ran through my mind. The thought of the man's reactions when he gets home etc. Please Fear who no fear human.

I'm glad the babe was emotionally sound enough to do what she did and walk away, I'm glad she has somewhere to go to and I wish more women were like her, if you don't follow some issues like this, you will keep diminishing, till you become a shadow of yourself.

The #NigerianElections2023 has taught me four vital lessons:

Lesson 1: Buhari is a ruler.
Lesson 2: Atiku is a leader.
Lesson 3: Tinubu is a doer.
Lesson 4: Obi is a trader. It is that simple.

A ruler blocks the way. A leader shows the way. A doer goes the way. And a trader seeks to profit from the way.

  23. RESPOND THE RIGHT WAY

'We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials.' Romans 5:3 NLT

In World War II, Viktor Frankl was sentenced to a Nazi concentration camp. The guards deprived him of everything. They took his wife, his family, his clothes. They even stole his wedding ring. But he had one thing no one could take from him. In a classic book, he wrote, 'The last of human freedoms is the ability to choose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances.' The guards could not take from Frankl his freedom to choose his attitude.

We do not know what is going to occur tomorrow, or even today. We can't control all our circumstances, but we can control how we respond to them. We can control whether an experience makes us stronger or weaker, increases our faith or our fear, makes us a better person or a bitter person. God wants our struggles to strengthen us. Paul writes: 'We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love' (Romans 5:3-5 NLT).

And here is another thought - a very important one. The tests and trials we go through in this life are what qualify us to rule and reign with Jesus in the next life. Knowing that will help you to respond the right way!

  30. Daily Juice

How you see yourself shapes your life. Be determined to improve your self-esteem and you will be on your way to great achievement. Do not let a low self-esteem ruin your life. The way you think about yourself determines how you interact with others. It determines how you relate with opportunities that come to you.

What’s wrong with you? Nothing but your thoughts. Stop thinking that the world is closing in on you. Stop blaming other people for your challenges. The world is not your problem, your thoughts are your own problem.

So yesterday he was with his mother, and he greeted cos he knows the mother will ask him why didn't he greets, I didn't answer him. And the mother was like, he's greeting you, I told her I heard him but he can't decide when to greet as he's not been greeting me, please did I do bad by not answering? I'm not the only neighbor he doesn't greet, most times he'll even plug earpiece when passing me and other neighbors
