  5. A PRAYER OF COMMITMENT TO GOD

'I brought glory to you... by doing everything you told me to.' John 17:4 TLB

If the desire of your heart is to please God and fulfil his will for your life, here is a prayer for you:

'Lord, I thank you that even though you know everything about me, you still love me. You know my thoughts, my mistakes, my sins, and yet you still call me your child. Your grace towards me is beyond comprehension. More than anything else, I want to know you intimately and sense your presence in my life each day. If there is any part of me that I have kept from you, show me so that I can invite you to rule and reign there. Come into me, Holy Spirit, and revive my soul with rivers of living water. Then flow out through me into a dry and thirsty world (see John 7:38-39). Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you instead of others (see Hebrews 12:1-2). Lord, be my richest treasure always. Help me never to make an idol out of anyone or anything or allow possessions or the distractions of this world to get in front of you in any way. You are my healer, my hope and my strength. When I need freedom, you are my deliverer. You are my shield from the enemy, my counsellor when I need guidance and my stronghold in the day of trouble (see Psalm 32:7). Truly, you are the God of miracles. Work your miracles of grace in my life and keep changing me from day to day into your likeness (see 2 Corinthians 3:18). In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.'

  18. It's About Your Faith!!
    Mathew 17:20.

    Excerpts!!

"The Lord isn’t responsible for the evils or the mishaps that people experience; it’s not consistent with His nature. He is love personified; there’s no darkness in Him. Whatever you may have suffered that’s inconsistent with the provisions of Christ in His Gospel didn’t come from God. You’re responsible for your life—the things that happen with you. It’s about your faith and how you use it."

"Using your faith to deal with the crises of life every day is your responsibility."

"How do you live by His faith? It’s by living the Word, being a doer of the Word. James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, by my faith in your Word I prevail over situations and circumstances. The forces of righteousness, success, divine health, victory, and prosperity are activated in my life as I live by your Word, guided and inspired by your wisdom to fulfil your perfect will for me, in Jesus Name. Amen.

  20. Marketers have projected fuel to 700/liter from next week. I am beginning to think the hardship coming will be severe and tough on Nigerians more than what we witnessed in the last eight years.

I am asking again. Where is the 800million dollars given to the Nigerian government by World Bank to curb the hardship the subsidy removal will impact on nigrisns? The money was meant to be shared to the common man but criminals in government hijacked it.

I saw people hailing a presidential convoy of over 124 vehicles and I wept. It dawn on me that Nigerian government are not yet ready to cut the cost of governance and funny enough, those being oppressed and impoverished are cheering the long convoy.

  38. Reno Omokri talks to Nigerians aiding and abetting exponential population growth

When it rains in China, they rush to the farm and produce food. When it rains in Nigeria, we run to the bedroom and produce children.

The government built railways in Kano, Abeokuta, and other large population centres. Study the data. I have looked at it. Nigerians are using these railways to attend weddings, parties, mosques and churches on weekdays. Besides the Abuja-Kaduna railway, which ferries workers, most railways in Nigeria just transport consumers.

The challenge with Nigeria is 20% government and 80% the governed. You will see Nigerians who do not pay any form of income taxes whatsoever swearing at the government for refusing to provide basic infrastructure.

We are so entitled as a people. And we think we do not have to do anything because we are oil rich. Oil rich? We make $30 billion from oil and gas to our 230 million population. Qatar makes $65 billion from oil and gas and has a population of 2.6 million people. That is just 1% of our population.

China had negative economic growth until she introduced the One Child Policy. From that period, and due mainly to that policy, their economy began to grow to the point where since 2010, they add the entire GDP of Greece to their economy annually. They are so stable that they have six million empty homes.

Nigeria needs to bring down her population growth. And if a rising cost of living is what it will take to do it, then so be it. When we suffer for our supper, we will be super!

    #TableShaker

    1. Nigerian government cannot make such a law, they cannot even make a Two children law because the people in government are the main culprits. A politician in Nigeria will have 4 wives and 10 concubines with 106 children.
The hardship that the rising cost of living will cause will only breed more criminals and hoodlums. Nigerians use s*x to douse frustration. They find succour in s*x. So it won't reduce the population.

SDK pls you can help post this question on IHN.
In my street, two weeks ago,my son noticed a mark on the ground while taking him and his brother to school, it is a trident drawn with a stick or sharp something on the sand. The head of the trident that looks like fork. We avoided it.
The next day and everyday till today as I type, we kept seeing this same symbol on the ground on our street, only one per day, drawn in different locations on the same street each day. We don't know how long it's been going on but we just noticed it two weeks ago and we avoid it.
I went on Google to search for the symbol and it's meaning, scarily, it stands for the devil.
Pls for those in the know, what does it mean? Couldn't get enough info on it on Google.
