When asked if he missed his late wife, Stella Obasanjo, he said, “Yes. She was a wonderful woman, and to do the job that I had to do the way I had to do it, I needed the peace of mind at home, and she gave me that peace of mind. That was very important.”

ReplyDeleteOmo her death shook me that year o. She was so beautiful, so admirable, young and full of life. Plus no warning. Then there was a plane crash as well same night and I knew someone on the plane. I was young so it was my first experience of plane crash news. Then NEPA took light so everywhere was dark. I couldn't sleep that night. She really was a suitable 1st lady for OBJ.
