The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Wednesday, signed and handed over documents of office to his successor, George Akume. The handover took place at the SGF office located at the Three Arms Zone in Abuja, shortly after Akume’s arrival.

 A boy has been reported killed by a truck and many others injured during the demolition of structures at the Eid-Ground in Kano metropolis. It was gathered that the incident happened when thugs invaded the place to loot from the debris of the demolished structures.

 A Kano State Sharia court sitting in Dambare, in Ungogo LGA has remanded a DJ, Ali Dan-Asabe, for disrupting studies and other activities in an Islamiyya school. Dan-Asabe was dragged before the court by the police following a complaint from the school’s management that his activities were disrupting pupils with loud music while they were having classes.
