It seems that the relationship between Media girl Toke Makinwa and singer Tiwa Savage has soured and both women no longer speak with each other. The two, who used to do things together, now pointedly ignore each other, even in public.
Both of them attended the 70th birthday party of Lagos socialite, Chief Rainot Oniru recently, but they clearly avoided each other at the event.
Savage, who was accompanied by her bodyguard to the event, exchanged pleasantries with some guests but walked past Makinwa without a word.
The relationship between the two became sour in 2022. It was alleged that they fell apart as a result of a disagreement they had over a love interest.
Around that time, Savage bagged an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Kent, but Makinwa did not celebrate her. They also unfollowed each other on social media.
Makinwa made it known during a question and answer session then that she was no longer close to the singer, but she did not give any reason.

ReplyDeleteThis has to do with Sharon Ooja, Toke and Tiwa Savage. Guys if you were observant on the recent AMVCA during the red carpet interview which Uti and Toke anchored. Toke kept gushing about all the celebrities but when Sharon and Idimma Okojie were on the red carpet. Toke totally ignored Sharon and kept asking Idimma about her outfit and her nomination whilst Uti focused on Sharon. After them, Toke was all over the place interviewing other celebrities like before.
The gist is Toke liked one rich guy like that who is Tiwa's good friend. Toke had already thrown herself around this guy but whoosai, the guy no gree reciprocate her green light. Meanwhile this same guy met Sharon Ooja and was immediately smitten and is now currently dating her (I no sabi him name). When she was eyeing the guy, Toke met Tiwa to help her hook up with the guy that she liked him and did not want to lose him as per Eja Nla, however I don't think Tiwa was selling or spoke to her friend on Toke's behalf.
So Toke was very upset that Tiwa is not nice, that she was there for her when she and Tee Bills marriage collapsed and when her sex tape sh*t was out but this one favour she asked of her, she refused to do it.
