    I do not think she has to repay the full amount, because she set aside time and rejected other work to do your project. It is not her fault the project failed to be realized. So she should keep some of the funds, but she should pay back the majority of it. There was no clause in the contract related to what happens if the project did not commence? Please get a better lawyer to write better contracts.

    You do not deserve the full deposit, based on the nature of the industry, so try to get 550k back, that is what I feel you deserve. Destiny, coming to loud it is the wrong way to go, she may be legally within her rights, based on the law to keep the deposit and could even sue you for libel. Tread carefully.

    Stella, we need a SDK courtroom up in here. We the jury and you the judge.
