GIST
Something happened in my area that I want to share with bvs as I know there are lessons in it.
There is this woman doing POS business by the roadside. Later, She got a sales boy to work there while she does other things. Meanwhile, the son of another woman selling foodstuff beside her who is in the same age group with the POS boy usually sit with him and gist and play.
Then boom! POS money went missing, N22000. Of course the first suspect was the POS sales boy himself, his owner questioned him and he denied taking it, he pointed accusing fingers at his friend, the son of the foodstuff seller. That one too denied taking the money.
After several denials by both parties, the foodstuff seller suggested that they should take both boys to swear in a shrine because she is sure that her son is innocent.
They went to the shrine, four of them - the two boys, POS owner and foodstuff seller. We heard that the babalawo warned them that they should confess before he does the ritual because the guilty party will swell up and later burst and die.
They kept denying.
Baba asked the foodseller's son to come out first and swear while stepping on one sand like that, the sand was supposed to spark and bring out fire if he was guilty. He did as instructed, nothing happened.
By now, the POS guy was begged to confess, he refused and so they thought maybe it was a third party that took the money. They asked him to do like the first boy, he did and spark of fire came out from under his foot.'
That was it!
The boy started swelling up immediately, after a few days, water started leaking from his feet. His family pleaded and asked the Baba to do something, that one charged them 200k, they paid and he reversed the curse but the damage had already been done to his body system.
The family of the sick boy took him to a teaching hospital, they said they have to drop 500k as deposit before they can commence treatment.
They could not raise the money, that was when they reported the matter to the police and the two women and the other boy were arrested and locked up, that is the POS stand owner, and the foodstuff seller plus her son.
As I type this, they are all in detention in the state police headquarters, they have spent two days there now.
On top N21000, a boy's life is at the brink of ending, all the parties involved have been spending huge money trying to settle the police, they could not go to their places of business.
See something that they should have settled within themselves or report to the police, they resorted to juju. The Devil will always collect a very big price for taking your case to him.
I will bring update as it unfolds:

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting-tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others
Nice one!!!
Divine Health Confessions!!

DeleteOne can't over emphasis the sentence; doing what works for you. If you base your relationship from work to family and in between to what you read here, you're heading for destruction. Some that advice or make suggestions to posts and comments won't condone half of what they say. Let's be guided.
ReplyDeleteSo many hypocritical persons here and killer joy as well. I found out too late about this.
DeleteYou'll be shocked to know that you're better of than majority of the people giving you advice on an issue hereπππ
Overemphasize
DeleteBaltikaππ₯
DeleteTEEJAY, some here take time to rile one up intentionally for no reason. They won't post comments but will attack comments as if paid to do so. Neglect and keep moving for me, no time.
DeleteHmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThe gist up there is so funny shaaa... I'm not supporting any party involved but the question is, what if the business owner has gone beyond them to do something without their knowledge or the foodstuff seller? Do you think it will be traceable to anyone of them? No of course.
The foodstuff seller should be thankful to God that the juju wasn't a reversed on(I mean, there are at times, the devil picks the wrong person, not because it's meant to be but because the person who worships the idol has done something which is against the worship of the idol unknowingly.
Good afternoon wonderful BVs and welcome to IHN.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Eka joy, I love your spirit. Enjoy the rest of the day at work/business
Same here Congratulations Eka...

DeleteWhen you go to people's house, please do not eat anything out of their fridge without asking them first.
ReplyDeleteAlso
When you see a brownish cake(brownies)without toppings or any design whatsoever, it is most likely weed laced cake.
Do not rush and eat it!!
Ask questions.

Good sunny afternoon
You're right.. thanks
DeleteNormally, I no dey eat for person house.
Deleteyeah, that brownie aspect is real.
DeleteThat thing killed one young lady like that that went to a party. We really need to be careful.
DeleteOh no! Just look at how that boy's life has been jeopardized all because of N22,000. If only the parties involved knew that things would degenerate to this point.....it's well.
ReplyDeleteSincerely not worth it . Why didn't the baba just find out who stole the money and not resort to doing damage.. God restore his health
DeleteOr just do something
DeleteThat the boy will just confess immediately like nollywood movies.
Only God can save that boy now
Amen π
DeleteHow are you sweetie?
That thief must be a professional. Even in d face of possible death, heatill swore before a shrine.
ReplyDeleteI pity every other party involved.
They should also go for deliverance for swearing before a dirty. Before the spirit starts harassing them.
Good afternoon bvs. How una dey
I guess he felt juju no dey work so nothing dey happen.
DeleteI'm just happy today, don't know why, don't care. I just love this peace and quiet. And guess what? Salary never enter o, so unlike me. The Sandra I know for don dey carry face for office up and down, but I don't just care...yet!π€«
ReplyDeleteSince my mom passed, I've just been carefree, I miss her but it's as if she just took all my worries on her way out. I don dey fat sef, everybody just dey comment. This life ehen, don't downplay your parents love for you, it's just indescribable, for real for real.

DeleteJust happy you are happy.
DeleteOh yes! You made a whole lot of sense. Keep being happy
DeleteFor sometime I've been deep in thought over this and other things and I had decided not to speak on this and just observe as things unfold but recent news reports on cancer causing food items and some other salient factors prompted me to share this.
ReplyDeleteI hope even if it's just one person who learns a thing a too that's fine by me.
I bought a loaf of bread and some other items 2 days before the Presidential election. I remember I was stocking up because no body knew the outcome.
2 days after election I had to make a very sudden trip.
I came back 3 days later.
There is a reason I'm being very specific with date and time.
On getting back I did I bit of house ceaning etc. I noticed that there were a few slices left on the dining table and assumed that it must have spoilt, so I reached for it to bin it.
But I noticed something, there was no green fungi or that white colour of stale bread. It wasnt hard. No odour. Still looking fresh as if I bought it yesterday, meanwhile if you calculated the days, more than a week had passed.
So, out of curiousity I left it on the dining table to see how many days it would take for the few slices left to finally decay.
Today is May 3rd 2023 that bread is still the same way it was the day I bought it on February 23rd 2023.
I don't know if it is embalming fluid they used to preserve this bread but I am aware that more than 85% of what we what we eat in the cities are so chemically laced that in years to come it the effect of thiscon the populace will be a monumental tragedy.
To answer your questions:
No, I live a alone, family and friends are not even in the country much less state so nobody came to exchange a few pieces of bread on my dining table.
No, it's not a cheapo, no name type of bread. It's very well known brand, bought it a supermarket and it was 850 naira or 900 naira.
No,it was not placed in the fridge. I never place bread in the fridge.
No, I won't take it to the lab. I have no faith in a our medical institutions, zero faith in the bodies that should regulate things like this, zero faith in the people you call leaders, zero faith in anything that concerns this country.
The small energy I have, I'll use in waiting to see when this bread will decay. Maybe it will be this year, maybe next.
And you, perhaps if you care to, be extra vigilant of anything you call food.
Thanks for sharing.
DeleteI say the only unprocessed food we eat is the garri, fufu, soup and juice, and we prepare by ourselves. Every other thing in wraps, packs, cans and bottles get one funny stuff.
DeletePreservation gone wrong...bread should go stale atmost after a week ....God help us in this country.
DeleteOMG! It's just God that's saving us in this country. Thanks for this information.
DeleteWow
DeleteJesus! This is scary
DeleteThere was a time I resorted to baking my bread by myself but since the hike in price of flour I had to stop. God help us with what we eat in this contrary.
DeleteEezi
Time to switch to buying roasted corn or yam when am not at home. Even though I doubt some things are added to the roasted corn π€¦π€¦π€¦
Deleteuhmm...
DeleteBlackberry people now use Klin asin the one used in washing clothes to process fufu heard that when I went to the village December
DeleteMay God save us from what we consume
Hmm may God help us.
DeleteMy God π² what kind of preservatives can this be? Na God hand we dey like this o.
DeleteThis need to go viral. One nutritionists whom I follow on Twitter hammers person and eating processed foods.

Oh Chimoooo,safe your Children.
DeleteHow una dey? Geskia! if I make cool sales this month,I will just travel to Badagry for the weekend with my kids,I just love badagry, the air is pristine, fresh roasted fish! Iam a fish lover..... away from the mundane realities of Life. I love history,I may go to the point of no return to revisit history..... The last time I was there 10years ago....that place got me emotional....seeing the shackles and chains used on our forefathers and the plates that were exchanged with human life.... The engine of the canoe stopped midway in the water...my heart almost stopped.... luckily the man switched on the engine againπ€£π I didn't know how to swim then hehehehe I was already reciting Psalms 91 in my heartπ€£ God abeggi ooooo.....I really wish the government will develop that place.
ReplyDeleteI love history and can spend quality time walking pass, watching pictures and reading epitaphs.
DeleteYou just made me remember the whispering palms in Badagry, maybe one of this days I will go for mini vacation there
DeleteI will visit Badagry one of these years too. I have heard a lot about that town.

DeleteI don't know why I never liked History as a subject in secondary school. Maybe I should consider History for my MSc. I've been reading loads of reading and it's been fun and eye opening. It's dangerous to believe every story we're told by the generation before us. If we do our own research with open minds, so much more will be revealed.
ReplyDeletePOS gist poster, please keep us updated. I hope they learn their lessons.
Eka Joy, please how is Mama settling in?
History is a subject I love but won't read as a course. Reading or watching, I transport my mind back to how the people I'm reading or watching lived. I imagine and try to relate with their lifestyle.
DeleteYea, it's an eye opener. The more you read and know, depending on the area of history, makes you annoyed, agitated, outspoken or an activist.
Good luck as you decide.
I love love love History. I read up on the histories of anything and anywhere that catches my attention. That's why nobody can tell me nonsense when it comes to the history of this country and the civil war.
DeleteWo, this hot weather is cold for mama. She had to tell us to put off the AC, I no know where she see AC for our house.

DeleteWhy did the boy insist on not taking the money? Could it be that he really didn't take it but the juju man just had to have a culprit? God should please intervene in this issue and heal that young man. He shouldn't have to go through all that just for N22k
ReplyDeleteThis could also be the case. He may have needed a sample to show the potency of his juju and the boy became the scape goat. Of course he would free the other boy as his mum is obviously his regular customer, she took them there according to the story.
DeleteI've never been this scared in my life, my Dad is seriously sick been in the hospital since sat, have prayed, cried and begged God to let him survive this
ReplyDeleteMy heart beats any time my phone rings, infact am looking drained with serious headache

DeleteI pray for divine healing on your dad. It is well with him.

ReplyDeleteI just hope it will end well.
DeleteIf that boy dies I just pity them
Something light, if the boy dies, I trust Nigerian police to drag them till they sell all their belongings and even borrow money to settle the case.
DeleteGood afternoon everyone π
ReplyDeletethat pos story really made me upset because a true Christian shouldn't result to juju for answers it could have been solved in a different way. Take it to police , now from a little amount 22k to 10 times tripling the money . All parties are now losers
I'm telling you

Good day Stella and bvs
ReplyDeleteThinking about this POS story deeply, I'm having a feeling that the sick boy may not even be the culprit, it could be that the mother of the other boy had gone to see the herbalist behind their backs and settled him so he can direct the juju to the POS guy, like we do watch on Africa magic. I pray he doesn't die.
Good afternoon people of SDK

Hello everyone,
ReplyDelete"asking"is the best method ever, like my mum will say, if you ask and the person shouts at you, that the person is the fool.

See how someone's life is wasting away because of 22k. The boss(POS Operator) should have asked for a refund from his family rather than going to a native doctor or better still get police to handle him. See 200k gone and he is still not okay. Up to 10 times what was missing..I pray he recovers from this
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon all
ReplyDeleteThat POS story is disturbing, I see some people still going to swear in front of juju men even in the city here and I shake my head, they do not know the spiritual implications of even stepping their feet in the shrine.
In all of this, I pity the boy's parents and I also pity the business owner for agreeing to take the case to a juju man instead of the police or just letting go. We learn everyday while doing business.
Congratulations Ekajoy
ReplyDeleteJust dey pity the pos guy and everyone of them that went to that shrine.
Dangerous consequences of visiting shrine is terrible sickness, unknown sickness and death etc.
Not a good idea.
Eka joy, I'm so happy for your mum, I shed some tears while reading cos it dawned on me that my own mum never entered a plane till she died but she gave her all to us.
ReplyDeleteI pray that your mum enjoys Europe in good health and that you won't regret bringing her over, she will make you happy and travel back to Nigeria peacefully. Long life and many more good things I wish her.
God bless you and your hubby.
Amen. Congratulations to Eka joy for this latest win
DeleteStella may your dad's burial be a success. A peaceful rest I wish him
ReplyDeleteAfter reading the pos story I just remembered one anty like that while I was small she is from our side I remember one day like that my mum said the anty neighbors were accusing her of stealing Thier 1000 naira then it was big money then eventually those neighbors that are not Nigerians went to babalawo with the anty when they got there she denied despite the man begging her to confess eventually she died while bathing with her head inside the water.
ReplyDeleteNawaooo.. Power of the devil.
DeleteShe dipped her head inside her bathing water? Hmmmm
DeleteHian!!...nawa oo, this is a sad story indeed, naso that young boy just waste laikdat
ReplyDeleteThat POS story gave me goosebumps. I can't imagine myself following anyone to anywhere for swearing. Arrest me instead, I know Nigerian police force is nothing to write home about either but it is preferable in this case. Let us always choose our suffering wisely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a story!
ReplyDeletePOS owner should have asked the boy's family to refund the money since the business was in his care, he should not have brought in another person to sit there with him and if his family refuse, she should have involved the police or just sack the boy and face front. See plenty suffering by all parties because of 22k.
Good afternoon my people
ReplyDeletePls who can tell me the code again, I want to stop unsolicited messages from this yellow network. They keep disturbing with plenty messages, up to 20 in a day.
As for that story, my mum always say that we should pray for our workers everyday as we pray for ourselves and family. That they should not put us in trouble in any way. May God free all of them.
Nine mobile is the worst
DeleteCheck for DND code of your network from Google.
DeleteThey almost frustrated my life with their plenty unsolicited msgs.
Very valid prayer @ Suave
DeleteIf anything happens to a worker, the boss will be arrested and rough handled first before the truth comes out. Also, the case of stealing and throwing one into debt is there too among other things.
Hiring people comes with plenty risks.
My people my people! How una dey?
ReplyDeleteSo I watched the video for Davido's new song "Unavailable" on Soundcity last night. It was so beautiful, like it should not end.
Joy, I just read your story on SP this afternoon. I'm so happy for mama. Kudos to you and your husband.
Let me go and read IHN gist.
I cant remember the last time I've heard anybody complain of eating their dream, boya sapa don reach speerishual realm abi wetin? π€
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon SDK and bvs
ReplyDeleteThe cup story is a nice one
Pos story, hiring sales boy and sales girl comes with plenty wahala. May God help them.
But come to think of it, just laughing loud to myself.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything Nedu doesn't know in this Nigeria?
This days when hubby used to employ sales boy/girl, we would warn them that no one should come sit with them except their customers. We must not see anyone sitting with them for gisting or any other thing asides business.
ReplyDeleteIf that boy in the POS story was the only one always at that place of business, they would have known who to hold responsible. Nevertheless, the owner should have held him responsible and leave the other boy, they employed only him, what was a third party doing there when he was not a customer?
I'm just angry and sad that this happened cos the sick boy may be innocent, some of these spiritualists are dubious.
Those days*
DeleteWhat a sad way to end his life cos of a mere 22k, he has put his family and every other persons involved in jeopardy. SMH.
ReplyDeleteYouth of these days really need to do better and save themselves from destruction.
I feel pity for his family. Having to run around for something they knew nothing about cos of their itibolibo son. Sad! Sad!! Sad!!!
Wisdom is indeed profitable, they may end up been charged for murder if anything happens to the pos guy all because of 22k@the gist.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your mum Ekajoy.I pray our parent live to enjoy the fruit of their labor.
I greet you allπππ
