GIST

Something happened in my area that I want to share with bvs as I know there are lessons in it.

There is this woman doing POS business by the roadside. Later, She got a sales boy to work there while she does other things. Meanwhile, the son of another woman selling foodstuff beside her who is in the same age group with the POS boy usually sit with him and gist and play.

Then boom! POS money went missing, N22000. Of course the first suspect was the POS sales boy himself, his owner questioned him and he denied taking it, he pointed accusing fingers at his friend, the son of the foodstuff seller. That one too denied taking the money.

After several denials by both parties, the foodstuff seller suggested that they should take both boys to swear in a shrine because she is sure that her son is innocent.
They went to the shrine, four of them - the two boys, POS owner and foodstuff seller. We heard that the babalawo warned them that they should confess before he does the ritual because the guilty party will swell up and later burst and die.

 They kept denying.

Baba asked the foodseller's son to come out first and swear while stepping on one sand like that, the sand was supposed to spark and bring out fire if he was guilty. He did as instructed, nothing happened.

By now, the POS guy was begged to confess, he refused and so they thought maybe it was a third party that took the money. They asked him to do like the first boy, he did and spark of fire came out from under his foot.'

That was it!
The boy started swelling up immediately, after a few days, water started leaking from his feet. His family pleaded and asked the Baba to do something, that one charged them 200k, they paid and he reversed the curse but the damage had already been done to his body system.

The family of the sick boy took him to a teaching hospital, they said they have to drop 500k as deposit before they can commence treatment.
They could not raise the money, that was when they reported the matter to the police and the two women and the other boy were arrested and locked up, that is the POS stand owner, and the foodstuff seller plus her son.

As I type this, they are all in detention in the state police headquarters, they have spent two days there now.

On top N21000, a boy's life is at the brink of ending, all the parties involved have been spending huge money trying to settle the police, they could not go to their places of business.
See something that they should have settled within themselves or report to the police, they resorted to juju. The Devil will always collect a very big price for taking your case to him.
I will bring update as it unfolds:

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility? Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting-tendencies?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others

Nice one!!!

The gist up there is so funny shaaa... I'm not supporting any party involved but the question is, what if the business owner has gone beyond them to do something without their knowledge or the foodstuff seller? Do you think it will be traceable to anyone of them? No of course.

The foodstuff seller should be thankful to God that the juju wasn't a reversed on(I mean, there are at times, the devil picks the wrong person, not because it's meant to be but because the person who worships the idol has done something which is against the worship of the idol unknowingly.

  18. For sometime I've been deep in thought over this and other things and I had decided not to speak on this and just observe as things unfold but recent news reports on cancer causing food items and some other salient factors prompted me to share this.
I hope even if it's just one person who learns a thing a too that's fine by me.
I bought a loaf of bread and some other items 2 days before the Presidential election. I remember I was stocking up because no body knew the outcome.
2 days after election I had to make a very sudden trip.
I came back 3 days later.
There is a reason I'm being very specific with date and time.
On getting back I did I bit of house ceaning etc. I noticed that there were a few slices left on the dining table and assumed that it must have spoilt, so I reached for it to bin it.
But I noticed something, there was no green fungi or that white colour of stale bread. It wasnt hard. No odour. Still looking fresh as if I bought it yesterday, meanwhile if you calculated the days, more than a week had passed.

So, out of curiousity I left it on the dining table to see how many days it would take for the few slices left to finally decay.

Today is May 3rd 2023 that bread is still the same way it was the day I bought it on February 23rd 2023.

I don't know if it is embalming fluid they used to preserve this bread but I am aware that more than 85% of what we what we eat in the cities are so chemically laced that in years to come it the effect of thiscon the populace will be a monumental tragedy.

    To answer your questions:

No, I live a alone, family and friends are not even in the country much less state so nobody came to exchange a few pieces of bread on my dining table.

No, it's not a cheapo, no name type of bread. It's very well known brand, bought it a supermarket and it was 850 naira or 900 naira.

No,it was not placed in the fridge. I never place bread in the fridge.

No, I won't take it to the lab. I have no faith in a our medical institutions, zero faith in the bodies that should regulate things like this, zero faith in the people you call leaders, zero faith in anything that concerns this country.

The small energy I have, I'll use in waiting to see when this bread will decay. Maybe it will be this year, maybe next.

And you, perhaps if you care to, be extra vigilant of anything you call food.

It's dangerous to believe every story we're told by the generation before us. If we do our own research with open minds, so much more will be revealed.

  50. See how someone's life is wasting away because of 22k. The boss(POS Operator) should have asked for a refund from his family rather than going to a native doctor or better still get police to handle him. See 200k gone and he is still not okay. Up to 10 times what was missing..I pray he recovers from this

  51. Good afternoon all
That POS story is disturbing, I see some people still going to swear in front of juju men even in the city here and I shake my head, they do not know the spiritual implications of even stepping their feet in the shrine.

In all of this, I pity the boy's parents and I also pity the business owner for agreeing to take the case to a juju man instead of the police or just letting go. We learn everyday while doing business.

  52. Congratulations Ekajoy

Just dey pity the pos guy and everyone of them that went to that shrine.

Dangerous consequences of visiting shrine is terrible sickness, unknown sickness and death etc.
    Not a good idea.

  53. Eka joy, I'm so happy for your mum, I shed some tears while reading cos it dawned on me that my own mum never entered a plane till she died but she gave her all to us.
I pray that your mum enjoys Europe in good health and that you won't regret bringing her over, she will make you happy and travel back to Nigeria peacefully. Long life and many more good things I wish her.
God bless you and your hubby.

  55. After reading the pos story I just remembered one anty like that while I was small she is from our side I remember one day like that my mum said the anty neighbors were accusing her of stealing Thier 1000 naira then it was big money then eventually those neighbors that are not Nigerians went to babalawo with the anty when they got there she denied despite the man begging her to confess eventually she died while bathing with her head inside the water.

  57. That POS story gave me goosebumps. I can't imagine myself following anyone to anywhere for swearing. Arrest me instead, I know Nigerian police force is nothing to write home about either but it is preferable in this case. Let us always choose our suffering wisely.

  58. What a story!
POS owner should have asked the boy's family to refund the money since the business was in his care, he should not have brought in another person to sit there with him and if his family refuse, she should have involved the police or just sack the boy and face front. See plenty suffering by all parties because of 22k.

  59. Good afternoon my people
Pls who can tell me the code again, I want to stop unsolicited messages from this yellow network. They keep disturbing with plenty messages, up to 20 in a day.
As for that story, my mum always say that we should pray for our workers everyday as we pray for ourselves and family. That they should not put us in trouble in any way. May God free all of them.

    3. Very valid prayer @ Suave
If anything happens to a worker, the boss will be arrested and rough handled first before the truth comes out. Also, the case of stealing and throwing one into debt is there too among other things.
Hiring people comes with plenty risks.

  63. But come to think of it, just laughing loud to myself.
Is there anything Nedu doesn't know in this Nigeria?

  64. This days when hubby used to employ sales boy/girl, we would warn them that no one should come sit with them except their customers. We must not see anyone sitting with them for gisting or any other thing asides business.

If that boy in the POS story was the only one always at that place of business, they would have known who to hold responsible. Nevertheless, the owner should have held him responsible and leave the other boy, they employed only him, what was a third party doing there when he was not a customer?
I'm just angry and sad that this happened cos the sick boy may be innocent, some of these spiritualists are dubious.

  65. What a sad way to end his life cos of a mere 22k, he has put his family and every other persons involved in jeopardy. SMH.

Youth of these days really need to do better and save themselves from destruction.
I feel pity for his family. Having to run around for something they knew nothing about cos of their itibolibo son. Sad! Sad!! Sad!!!
