ReplyDeleteOne of my friends who runs a POS business, called me yesterday, lamenting! He employed his young cousin to handle one of his shops. 3 days ago, a rich looking dude in an expensive ride, came to the shop and asked to be given 100k cash, that he will transfer the money. The boy said he only had 80k cash. The man asked him to give him laidat. The boy called owner of shop. That one said, "don't give him cash until I see alert". But the boy was moved by the man's clothes and car, and felt there was no way that man could run away. He went ahead to give the man the cash. The man left. And that's it! Till now, dem no see the man, dem no see alert. 🥲🥺
To lose 10k in dis kontri now sef, is very painful, not to talk of 80k.
We all need to stay smart out there cos people no just get conscience sha!

DeleteSome will do transfer for you and say you should hold their number, if the money doesn't enter, you should call them. (Wetin concern me and your number, abi na your number wan pay me)
Some will threaten to leave the goods if you don't allow them to go before you receive alert. (That threat no de move me. Na me go even tell you to leave the goods and drop your acc number, that I go run you the transfer when I receive am)
Some will form say they dey in a hurry. (That one concern you. If you hurry finish, you go wait till I confirm the alert)
Some will tell you "young guy like you no dey do like guy man" (I go tell you I no dey do guy for business)
So many formats. They talk you into believing them.
The only solution is to tell them you must CONFIRM the alert before they leave with the goods or services.

Go to the mechanic workshop on your free day. If he want to change anything, use your hand and go to the market and buy it. Stay at his workshop and watch him fix it. Pay him for Workmanship and drive your car home

ReplyDeleteI just want to drop some words, I came across a something that just explains what I have been explaining for years, not everyone may agree with it but I believe if we really take life as simple as it is, things will be easier.
Inconsistent communication from someone you like, means the person is just not interested, stop making excuses,
when someone ghosts you, as painful as it seems, they don’t just want to be in your space, stop trying to figure out why, cus seeking closure can lead to disrespect.
Some people do not see cheating as a deal breaker, stop trying to advice them if they are okay with it, if they complain to you then advice them and if they don’t heed to you, warn them to stop complaining to you.
Some people are housewives and it works for them, Inshort their husbands worship their feet, also having a job doesn’t make you superior to a housewife.
Financial independence isn’t the only reason for a successful marriage, marry a person with a conscience. I have met very independent women taking a lot crap and crying about their situation or doing everything financially to make the marriage work, even when it’s draining them, they are even still being disrespected as the breadwinners.
A woman who wants a man to take care of all her needs isn’t a gold digger or a slut, she just wants what she wants and there’s a man out there for her, it’s not just you.
A man wanting 50/50 isn’t a bad or stingy person, he just needs to find a woman who has the same mentality… believe me there’s someone out there.
You attracting some kinds of people over and over doesn’t make them scum, it just means your standards are scum, work on yourself, you too deserve better. The moment you know what you deserve, you won’t even give “scum” audience.
Stop trying to control people or force or manipulate them to love you, if they can’t love you how you want to be loved, I promise you there’s someone out there.
Now I am not saying you cannot work on the relationships you already have but BOTH partners have to be willing, I am not saying there won’t be problems but BOTH of you should be able to sit down and TALK and work things out.
God gave us choices for a reason, nothing is meant to be forced.
