It was mixed emotions for the family. While on one hand, they were joyous she lived a good and fulfilled life, having passed on at the ripe old age of 83, they were on the other hand, sad that the late octogenarian who was a rallying point for the family was no more.
The funeral ceremony kicked off with a wake/vigil mass on the evening of Thursday March 27, at All Saints Catholic Church, Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North, Delta State. The following day, Friday March 28, there was a brief lying-in-state before a funeral mass which was also held at the same church. Interment followed immediately after at the family residence at Ishiekpe Quarters, Isele-Uku, Onicha-Ugbo.
The bereaved family contracted Apams Funeral Homes, one of the foremost funeral homes operating in the South East and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT to handle the burial process.

Hon. Engr. Victor Ochei, Chiedu Ebie, a former Secretary to Delta State Government; Ayodele Aminu, Managing Director, New Telegraph Newspaper; Charles Aigbe, Deputy Vice President, Community Relations at HEIRS Oil and Gas; Emem Usoro, Executive Director, Northern Nigeria, UBA; Chalya Shagaya, Editor-at-Large, THEWILL DOWNTOWN Magazine; Adejare Adegbenro, businessman and philanthropist etc.
Highly sought after Godbless and Eboni Band were on hand to entertain guests. Late Princess Oganah who passed on, on Monday, February 20, 2023, was a senior civil service official for many years as a secondary school Vice Principal in the Delta State Civil Service.
She is survived by her children – Austyn Ogannah, Uche Maidoh, Prince Tony Oganah, Dr. Beatrice Oganah-Ikunjeyo, Dr. Pamela Irabor, Prince Alfred Oganah and several grandchildren.
