DIARY OF A PREGNANT MOM
The last few days has been crazy for me and this is because pregnancy has been messing with my hormones and emotions.
One minute I am happy and excited and can’t wait to forge ahead with the day’s activities, then smack in the middle of that I become so tired and all I want to do is sleep, shut myself in and not talk to anyone.
Even my cravings are not left out. One minute I am craving something so badly and when I finally get it, I don’t want it again. I once went for a walk and had to rush home, I was just smelling different people’s cooking and I badly wanted them all.
This is my first time experiencing all this, in all my other pregnancies non of these happened. I really don’t like being this emotional and I am kind of not happy with the lack of control but what can I do?.
I am learning to appreciate each phase and look forward to meeting my baby.
Oh! I am finally showing and I being referred to as “iya ibeji”. Not that I want twins but that is how every pregnant woman is greeted in my part of the world. “Na my new name and identity be that till I born”.
Iya Ibeji I Salute you specially...I pray that your pregnancy turns out to be twins....lol

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing happy about this year's workers day where I am. Civil servants have not been paid for two months here, for some others its way more than two months. Jejely waiting for May 29th to come so we can have the change we so eagerly yearn for.
