  1. The painful thing about this is she just could win this case. The way they interpret the law over there, especially when it comes to women rights is just weird. She might not get half his assets but she could be awarded a substantial chunk of his wealth. Make we dey watch.

    1. Well I love the fact that you don't treat a woman anyhow over there unlike this lawless country. But I am not gold diggers either.

    3. The law works well and in favor of women over there. Though, I'm not in support of man handling women but seriously, she can't get that I swear

    4. Toh, is not like how they make some Naija ladies the Lord of the rings for years, then dump them to marry someone they just met, without any remorse. During the period most of such ladies have invested a lot into the man (not just emotionally, but physically, financially and spiritually), not knowing he was planning to dump them. But they leave with nothing and mostly have to start afresh with someone else, if they can get over the heartbreak. So I can't say I blame this woman.

    5. Why do we always assume that western laws are always pro women? That you heard a few stories or the side of bitter people doesn't make it true. There are reasons why women win and many more why they lose. The difference is evidence. Laws here not absolute or straight forward. If you live in the US in a community property state, for example, don't live with someone you will not marry. In Texas if you live together for 6 months and people think you are married and you act married without any wedding, the law says you are married and must get a divorce. Worse, everything that was acquired during the relationship must be shared equally. I loud this to my people a lot but you know how love is. I don't know what the law says in New Zealand and her winning or losing will depend on what she can prove and what precedents exist. She likely benefitted from the relationship too and if he didn't make any promises, she will lose. If you know you will not marry, do not waste people's time. Naija wives I hope you know you can side chicks too.

    1. Thank you. I keep repeating on this blog that using people is not right, especially when you know your real intentions is not with that person. If you must break up, do it with heart and don't treat the other party anyhow, especially when you know the person feels deeply for you. This goes for both genders.

  5. Common law wife level.

Always good to seek advice as a celebrity earner and more so when a rich "foreigner"

    1. Are you surprised? The average black man prefers light skin, which is why many women have been bleaching since nineteen gbiridim, from tura and caro white soaps back then to whitening creams and injections now. When the men now travel abroad and see white women give them face, no amount of bleaching can save ya, he goes for whitey. See black men flocking the Kardashians naa😆 I no care who dates who, I only care when they bash black women while doing so cos the same whitey when done with them, will take them to court and take every penny, no mercy...

  8. He deserves whatever she will dish to him ! Nigerian men are so colorist and prefer caucasian women to their fellow black women thinking the women deserve to be treated anyhow,
Let her show him premium shege! And the way the law works over there , she might get something.

  9. He need to give her something even of not up to what she is asking for, she was with him for a long time, she sacrifice her time, attention, space and helped him grow. She will also pray for his success, now that he has made it big he want to dump her to be with someone who doesn't know anything. He should compensate her, at least the wasted years she stayed with him.

I wish this can of law can work here, a lot of men will dump their ladies who stood by them when the road was hard.
