President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, in Abuja, said his regime had delivered change to Nigerians, especially in the area of affordable housing. Appraising his regime’s performance in office during the inauguration of a housing estate in Zuba, Abuja, on Tuesday, the President claimed that the new housing estate was addressing multidimensional poverty among the citizens.



 The police, on Tuesday, began grilling the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa-Ari, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, over alleged impropriety during the April 15 supplementary governorship poll in Adamawa State. The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that Yunusa-Ari and other suspects were in police custody and were being grilled.

Ebonyi State Governor and senator-elect, Dave Umahi, on Tuesday, in Abuja, informed the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of his intent to be President of the 10th Senate. Umahi, who disclosed this after meeting with the President at the Aso Rock Villa, argued that “justice, equity and fairness” must guide the All Progressives Congress when zoning the principal offices of the 10th National Assembly.

A 42-year-old woman, Fatima Rahman, from Chad Republic has been remanded in the Ikoyi Custodial Centre for the alleged murder of her co-wife, Adizat, at her residence in Alejo Street, Ijede, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. Fatima was arraigned on Tuesday before Magistrate P. E Nwaka at a Magistrates’ Court sitting in Yaba on one-count charge of murder.
