  1. 18. Immediately I gained admission, I only came home during the holidays. After graduation, stayed a few months and went for service. After service, I moved to Lagos, got a job, got hitched and only came home for the wedding 💒.

  2. I got married from my parents house @27. School and work were in the same state so I didn't see the need . I saved enough money.

  3. From when I left for university, I don't think I ever stayed at home for any serious length of time again. My school was really far away plus I was eager to launch out on my own, God was and has been faithful.

  6. Still at my parent house, will only leave when I'm married, or if marriage doesn't come, I move out when I'm ready to have a child. I earn a six figure salary, working in the same state with them. Why move out, when they haven't put me in an uncomfortable situation.

  11. Even as I was living with my dad, I was paying bills (during my IT), so it wasn't like I was living off him. Went for HND and finally left his house for NYSC at age 28.

  14. Still there at 37yrs . Rent is too expensive to move out all in the name of independence. You can totally be independent while living with them.
Also I love my mothers company too much to go leave somewhere when we’ve free unoccupied rooms in the house.
