    7. Psychologists define forgiveness as a deliberate decision to release feelings of anger, resentment, or vengeance toward someone who has hurt you.

In contrast, “unforgiveness” is marked by a mix of bitterness, hostility, anger, and fear.

Holding a grudge or aiming for revenge can sap our ability to find peace and happiness, but finding a way to forgive without giving up our principles is no easy task.

However, if we can find a way to do so, we will reap many benefits. Studies have found that those who score higher on measures of forgiveness are less depressed, sleep better, use less medicine, have more energy, and enjoy improved cardiovascular health and better life satisfaction.

      Good Morning BVs.

    8. To the poster who fix nails for 10k to 11k with 165k salary, I feel you aren't living within your means.

If nails cost you 10k, how much is your body cream and other cosmetic products, how much foes into transport and food too.

For me, my salary is 200k:
I save 100k monthly for raining days,
40k goes for my house rent, 20k goes for co-operative, pay tithe and give my money allowance and spend the rest on myself. I sometimes get some tip too which I also use for my upkeep..

@poster, you aren't me and I'm not you.
Please minimise unnecessary expenses and save instead, you can fix nails but let it be seasonal not something you do weekly/monthly.

      Goodmorning

    10. 10:16, from your calculations, you will have less than 30k left from the 200k salary after all deductions, pray tell, how much do you spend on food and cream, hair, light bill, transport, etc?
Feeding alone these days takes up 50k monthly for one person if you don't eat expensive food, so how do you cope?
It's either you have a man somewhere who gives you money or the tips you mentioned are equivalent to your salary when added up monthly.

    11. Ali you are correct.
There was this older friend like that to me, a mature married woman who was way older. She was more than a family to me.
I cherished her so much. She had marriage issues and relocated and ghosted everyone in Nigeria.
God bless you wherever you are Mrs M. O.

    12. That's true @Ali. B, yesterday I woke up by 3am, thinking how to go about the day without no food for the children to eat. So there's a woman close to my house that sells food stuffs, I'm owing her and I don't want to add more debts. So I decided not to collect, we go soak garri happily.
Then I heard knocking on my door and it's the woman, I was scared maybe she don finally come to disgrace me today, but, instead she surprised me with a mudu of rice and all the condiments to cook it for free. God will bless her for me. Good morning Stella and bvs. God bless our hustle🙏 🙏

    13. 11:27, if you make your meals yourself for the month, you won’t spend so much. If you buy only what you need, you won’t spend so much. If you live closer to work place(she sets aside 40k every month, shows her accommodation is not cheap especially if it’s a mini flat or sled con) you won’t spend so much. She also mentioned she receives tips which arguments the cash left. She is not wrong in her breakdown. When I used to live in the island closer to workplace, I only spent approximately 1k a week on transportation and that’s on Keke. It was only on rare occasions that I use Uber. I buy my foodstuffs and toiletries in bulk at balogun. So sometimes, it spills into another month thereby reducing the next month expenses. Since I moved to the main land, staff bus is my every day transport, I spend 1,000 for Keke through and from the location where the staff bus drops me. I still live within my means and have a large savings. Salary is half a mill.

  4. ‘SERVANTS’ FOR LIFE.

'Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ.' Romans 1:1 NKJV

In the Bible the word 'minister' isn't just a noun (which denotes a person, place or thing); it's also a verb (an action word). It's what you do, not what you claim to be. In Scripture, the word 'servant' sometimes referred to a third-level galley slave chained to the oar of a Roman ship. Day and night, they rowed to the beat of another, and whether in battle or in merchant service, they expected to die chained to that oar. What a picture!

Paul says, 'Dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God...Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind he will find acceptable' (Romans 12:1 NLT). Paul had no doubt about what God had called him to be. When he referred to himself as a 'bondservant', he was describing a slave who served his master faithfully for six years. In the seventh year, the law of Moses required that the slave be set free. But if, when he was released, he came back and said, 'Master, I'm not serving you because I have to; I'm serving you because I want to,' his master would take him before a magistrate and pierce his ear, signifying that he belonged to him forever (see Exodus 21:6).

Sometimes you need to look up and say: 'Lord, I'm not serving you because I have to; I'm serving you because I love you. Pierce my ear. Mark me as yours. Bond me with you so I can never belong to another.' When you think of everything Jesus has done for you, is that really too much to ask?

  11. Good Morning Guys,

I wanna ask a question that has been a thought in my mind😀

As a guy, you got connected to a babe sometime ago in a particular platform you're both an active commenter. You built up friendship and eventually met in some occasions. You both like yourselves and the friendship that has been built.

You became great and loving friends.

You both have unique names you used at the comment section distinct from your real names unknown to you guys.

Accidentally in one occasion, you stumbled on the browser that has that platform you do visits in your friend's phone and discovered that your friend bears that moniker that has heavily criticized, ridiculed and dragged you with unprintable names at that platform in the past.

You were so shocked seeing that but didn't say a thing about it, neither did she know of your discovery.

At this point what will you do?

This is just a random thought ooo😁😁😁

    2. I will start withdrawing from that friendship gradually. A friend is supposed to have my back at all times, defend me, protect me but in this your case, that one is a pretender, not a true friend. She can kill one. Exit the friendship gradually and ghost the person.

  18. No Sickness In Our Kingdom!!
    Isaiah 33:24.

    Excerpts!!

"God doesn't get any glory out of us being sick. We belong In His Kingdom, and the Scripture shows us that divine health is one our Kingdom rights; it's one of the blessings we have in Christ."

"Take charge and rule over your body with the Word of God. Refuse to yield your body to sickness, disease or infirmity."

"God gave you a life that's superior to sickness, so you can serve Him and live for Him; so you can manifest His glory and His grace, and impact your world with the message of Christ’s salvation."

    Confession!!

I was born into the Kingdom of God where I reign over sickness, disease and infirmity. I walk in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel, basking in divine prosperity, beauty and honour. Through my faith-filled confessions, I enforce the will of God concerning my health today and always. Glory to God!

    5. This is true, from what I observed in my family members that reside there and visit home once in a while. They changed within a short time. Even their philosophy, how they see life and things, changed. The way they reason changed.
We will just be looking at them with surprise when they contribute to discussions.

    6. I m afraid this may happen to me too if I move abroad. I "m not crazily religious/spiritual to start with, even in Nigeria with it's plenty demons where even the most basic things turn to prayer points. I will definitely not forget my God when I go abroad because I know he is my creator and Jesus my saviour, but the tenor of my christian life may change.
