He made this known in an interview with Naija 102 FM.
He said the cause of the feud between the two may be far from AY’s claim that N30,000 is the reason they fell apart.
He said, “I don’t think it’s only N30,000. Maybe there is more. It seems like there is something that is making them angry and they are holding onto it but they can’t talk about it.”
AY was the first to open up about the rift between himself and Basketmouth. He stated that N30,000 was the cause of their rancour, however, Basketmouth denied the claim and stated that he has never had a close relationship with AY and does not owe him any money..
He also said AY lied about the rift just to promote his show.

If you two cannot behave like adults and end your rift, you people should continue. Life is too short to hold rift for a long time with another person, anything can happen.
