She's absolutely spot on
ReplyDeleteSome screenwriters do that and it's terribly bad
Yes she is.
DeleteLol. Sometimes movie ho just dull person
ReplyDeleteMy favourite,I love her movies
ReplyDeleteShe's right.
ReplyDeleteWell said
ReplyDeleteMy darling Ruth ๐๐๐ loved her in crazy Matilda
ReplyDeleteWell said.
ReplyDeletelet me also use this opportunity to rant about Royal Arts Academy and the quality of movies they upload these days. They were my number one place for quality Nollywood movies on youtube but not anymore, all they post these days are movies with very wack storylines. Too many unnecessary scenes and dialogues like secondary school drama then they end up rushing the ending part. Abeg abeg.
spot on
ReplyDeleteSometimes, it's not the screenwriter's fault. Some producers specifically ask scriptwriters to write a movie with just 5 characters and not more than 3 to 5 locations. This invariably means that the bulk of the movie would rest on the 1 or 2 lead casts. It's not really the fault of the writers, producers are trying to save cost.
ReplyDeleteIf you watch Netflix movies, you'd notice that it's totally different, because there's money to pay enough characters, so writers explore all angles and develop characters maximally.
Ruth,Uchenna Mbunabo, and others we are tired of boy meet girl and getting married stories. It's overflogged already. Do something more realistic abeg and touch on social issues.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a great Nollywood haunted house movie. All of the nollywood horror movies are centered around rituals or cults. I can’t wait for a good spine tingling ghost story to show up with nothing to do with cults or rituals.
ReplyDeleteI honestly love Nollywood and I am very proud to see how far the industry has come and how much easier it is to access these movies today. I hope the industry keeps getting better and better.
Diamond Ring. Still gives me goosebumps
DeleteThanks anon 21:37, I will search for it.
DeleteI don’t think I’ll ever watch diamond ring again, that movie traumatized me growing up.
DeleteEezi
She's so right
