DeleteElijah (he ran away from Jezebel's wrath); Elisha; Samson (he could not defend himself from Delilah's ensnaring guiles); and David (before he became King) were all last defence men.
Last defence need not be about material provision. But a poor cannot effectively counsel another poor man about making it even if is right. Money validates.
Most times I pray for God to strengthen me, keep me going and provide for me because of those God has made me last line of defence for. I allowed God to use me to make others OK but I only ask for a little comfort for myself. God is the greatest indeed.
