DIARY OF A PREGNANT MOM

Due to the food aversion I am experiencing this period, I started having crazy pains after eating, drinking carbonated food and taking painkillers.

The painkillers caused the most pain, I was diagnosed with stomach ulcer and the first few weeks were so terrible, I sometimes felt tummy pains for a whole day.
Got the right medications and was told that the right diet change will make a lot of difference, which is doing just that at the moment

My diet change involves no carbonated drink ( it was painful saying bye to my favourite coke drink). No more spicy foods, no more fried foods ( I am struggling with giving up fried foods because I love fried plantain).

No more NSAID painkillers ( paracetamol, panadol etc). I also have to eat small meals throughout the day and take a lot of fruits.
Fruits like orange and other citruses are not allowed.

I am way better than before and I am so grateful because nothing can describe the kind of pain I felt in the last few weeks.

Also I ate the amala I have been craving, and I enjoyed every morsel with great relish.
I am so going to satisfy each one of my cravings as it comes because for the first time in all my pregnancies, I am having serious food cravings .......

HA!!!!::......this your pregnancy is tough oh.... I used to take a lot of Juice if i wanted the baby to kick.. sweet things make babies very active in the womb.
Please take it easy, I am sure that as you near you EDD, most of these you described will vanish... I hope this pregnancy cures you of your Coke addiction as well...
Enjoy it and as many that are TTC that seek for the fruit of the womb, may they be blessed reading about your Journey.

PINKYS CORNER

What a pity

I greet una for this corner oooo, how una dey? I'm not in a good mood because I find it hard putting up this. Parents should please be watchful and do a proper check for their children whenever they come back from school each day.

There is this 11years old boy, whose parents live very close to my house(just the 3rd compound), the boy attends one small private school like that for my area. I think on the 9th of March which was on Thursday, he broke his arm at school and the teachers just massaged it and that was all( How it happened wasn't disclosed to the parents and they didn't even bother to know).

On the 11th, he was complaining bitterly and his parents took him to this local people for treatment and that was all, he resumed school the following week but unfortunately on Wednesday (15th march) , he woke up in the middle of the night with pains and couldn't lift up that same hand, the cry of his parents woke us up because they needed someone to help them with a car to rush the boy to the hospital, that was how I woke up my neighbor and we assisted them with my neighbor's car.

We spent over 2hours at the hospital. But something bad happened, the doctor asked them to deposit 50k but papa and mama only hard 15k, I had to transfer 35k (with the hope that, when the boy gets well, the parents will pay back)

(Note: my neighbor refunded 15k to me when we got home as part of his assistance after the boy gave up ). We were outside and the cold was much , waiting for info from either the doctor or any of the nurse to know if there is any improvement but we got the shocker. After like 3hours or so, we were told the boy had gave up the ghost, I couldn't control myself, I ran to the hospital gate and sat at one corner there because I really don't know what to say to the parents. hmmmmm.

Abiamo, hmmm, Ina omo o ni Jo wa oooo because till this present moment, the parents haven't been in a good mood and each time I set my eyes on the mother, I become speechless and don't know what to say to her.

If your children do not feel too well, please take care of them properly instead of sending them to school thinking they are pretending to be sick. Your children are your asset, don't give devil any chance in their life. This two used a local treatment because they had no money.

I pray God give us in abundant everything we need to take care of our children in Jesus name.

I dont get it.. What killed the boy? He couldnt have died from a broken arm? He broke his arm on the 9th and was dead on the 15th? what could have caused it? Hmmmmm !!!

MONDAY CHRONICLES WRITER SENDS HER THANKS

Good day Jeweluchi,

I want to say a huge thank you to you for posting my chronicle, I read all the comments and I am very grateful.

HF" I saw your comment, I looked it up and sanguine said so much about me.

The person that asked me to watch "THE KEEPER ", I did and it gave me the revelation and prayer points i needed, it was more about ALTERS and I love it, both Part one and two, it's a must watch for any Christian who is going through my kind of ordeal.

TEEJAY ezigbo nwannem, I saw your comment, I appreciate but I have made up my mind to wait on Christ Jesus, it is more peaceful, I am not desperate, I am always contented even with little (Sanguine), so far I'm able to provide for my kids, have a roof over my head, be in good health, I am okay, every other thing will sort itself out.

I will trust God till the end.
My Dearest BVees, you people are more than a force, one family I have cherished over a decade without regrets, may God bless you all, I am very very encouraged because of your comments and my mind is made up and I won't turn back, I will follow Christ till the end, things will turn out fine.
Again I say thank you to each and everyone of you, your comments saved a soul, may God encourage each and everyone of you in whatsoever you're passing through in life for many are the afflictions of the righteous but our good Lord will deliver us from them all, I am encouraged that God will not leave me and I wish you same, may your lives be blessed, remember me in your prayers.... it is well with us... Thank you

Good to know that you got encouraged.. please dont look back!

  1. I sympathise with my brothers and people of Anambra at the Onitsha Main market which multiple reports has it that a huge fire razed down goods and properties worth millions of naira in less than 24hrs ago.

This is the second time in less than a year or two this is happening. The government should investigate what's actually causing this fight outbreak to see if it's an intentional act by some evil persons and bring them to justice.

Also, monetary assistance be provided to the affected victims to ease the damage, hardship and effect this loss have brought upon them.

Away from that is a funny video I watched online earlier today.

I watched an old video of the ex governor of Edo State on Facebook. I can't help but to laugh till I almost shed tears.

    He said;

''I think for democracy to flourish
Only those that will accept the pain of rigging sorry defeat........ 😂😂😂😂

My belle ooo. I laughed till I fart.

    Can you imagine that!

Someone will say it's a slip of tongue but then, the truth has a way of forcing itself out no matter how one tries to suppress it.

See how God was exposing all they've been doing since.

If you watch that video and you will laugh more than I do.

On two different videos I also watched, I saw two of my guys on a comedy skit. They are now into skit making and content creation.

E be like say na there the money dey flow now.

I quickly followed them make I help their ministries by liking and sharing their content.

The hate is the hate they were taught, a baby born today doesn’t know the difference between he and another person… he grows and if he is raised in hate, hates… if in love, he loves.
This is why I don’t discuss politics, religion or tribal differences in the presence of my kids. I don’t want them picking rubbish.

    3. @TEEJAY I would disagree with you here. At my former residence, the caretaker's young daughter (8/9 yrs) fell from a table and broke her joint (leg). But they did not notify their parents, two days she couldn't get up from her bed, that was the beginning of a long journey. They asked questions and was told what happened, then they opted for the local way. That was their undoing, a week after when it seems all was well she couldn't move again. It was then that she was rushed to the hospital.
Verdit: Impactedly comminuted fracture, while they were treating fracture dislocation. So it's the decay and internal infection that was given as the cause of death. Sometimes dislocated joints too can be amputated due to untreated infections.
I am not an health practitioner but that was from a real life experience.

  24. Just read a story about a mother who set fire on her son, daughter in law, and two grand children. It is alleged she claimed her son and his wife who lived with her in the same home, were starving her.

From today, I would advise any intending couple not to plan living with parents after marriage. They should arrange for visiting and provision of cash/food especially for aged non working parents. But not to live in family house.

This is why some churches do not approve marriage for a couple where they cannot show evidence of a rented or owned accommodation and some basic cooking utensils.

    So sad a story.

  26. Thank God for you chronicle poster

The thing is if you are not ready to have UNSHAKENED faith and UNCONDITIONAL love for God then you are not ready to be a Christian.
If you are not ready to serve him even with your life at stake and love him more than you love your life no matter whatever tribulation life throws at you, then kindly reconsider your Christian journey.
Go and read about Christians of old. You will understand better what it means to be a fervent follower of Christ.

I know a woman whose leg was also affected the same way as teejays brother. A spiritual arrow was fired at her. The hospital rejected her and she was advised to go traditional.
People advised her to visit a traditionalist because to them that was the only solution. Family members were even willing to take her there yet she scolded them all. The poison kept spreading but the woman said, if God won't fix it then she would rather die than step her feet into a traditionalist's tent. People kept telling her all sorts because she was dying but she did not budge while her legs kept on getting bigger and she started getting weaker. She prayed and fasted and prayed even more same with people around her and God healed her.

Moral of the story: You have to be READY to serve God till the end even at the loss of your life. If not you are not ready then you are not ready to be a Christian.
Nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ. Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword(Romans 8:35)
This was not a hearsay story. The woman is someone well-known. She even restored a lot of people's faith in God.

Yesterday during break time. A boy in my class went up the third floor to get something from his friend. while coming down the stairs he slipped and twisted his angle. Very painful sight. We rushed him downstairs to the sick bay. The nurse used some ointment and spray on it and allowed to to rest there till closing . When I went downstairs to check himhe felt slightly better but the pain still there. Not quite long the Mum arrived and he was taken to the the hospital.
Today I called to check on him and was told he's already on POP after the X-ray result. Phew !!!!

Ramadan fast is starting in two days time, the cash issue and political terrain did not even allow us to notice.

  41. Rest in peace to that poor boy. Boys play rough play too much, teachers and parents can attest to this. We need to be more vigilant in watching over these kids. May we not bury our kids.

  43. Rest in peace to the boy. I think their financial situation contributed to the reason why they didn't take him to a standard hospital. The economy is very harsh now with very low sales and cash scarcity. I pity parents with many children at this time in Nigeria. I pray that we all will be complete with our loved ones when things improve.

Awon God will provide burning children like rats with salary that can barely last for 2weeks.
      Let them continue.

    2. No matter the economic times no hospital should refuse treatment to a child. A child's health should never be tied to their parent's finances. The system is messed up, and ppl should demand better.
