Senator Chimaroke Nnamani Posts Shocking Tweets After Senatorial Loss

Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, on Monday, said Labor Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has set the Igbo political trajectory 24 years back.
Nnamani, who lost the Enugu East Senatorial election to LP’s Kelvin Chukwu said this in a tweet on Monday March 20, 2023

He Tweeted...
''6 million votes! What next?A trophy for Mr Obi. He has to go to school to learn good manners on living with neighbors. Building confidence and trust. Not abuse, threat and divisive language.Christians against Muslims. Igbo against fellow Nigerians. #Chimaroke''

My mistake. I blew it. Allowed my disdain for the dysfunctional Nigerian elite to get to me. Could not stand their kerfuffle. Will pursue a different paradigm next. They are my folks , ignorant, poor, dirty . Live in face me I face you home. I love them.50k votes. Huge #Chimaroke

Igbo leaders watch as vulnerable and ignorant Igbo youth bait other Nigerians. Hostile to their host communities.Doing business in Lagos and describing it as " No man's land"Politically displacing the Gwari the owners of FCT and yet doing business in their land.#Chimaroke

Governors,LG Chairmen failed 100 percent.Ordinary water unavailable in cities.Unemployment, Pollutants and "Rubbish " living house to house in competition with our people.Massive public neglect gave fertile ground for Peter Gringory Obi to plant his message of Hate.#Chimaroke

These Igbo leaders including "Asoebi" Governors quite unlike my '99 class. They danced while Igbo Land burnt. They lacked the " Liver"to condemn "sit at home" nor condemn the killings. They cowered at Peter Gringory Obi message of hate, bile and incitement. They failed! #Chimaroke

The Oha Na Eze.Grown elders who kept quiet while the goats labored tethered will live to regret their political miscalculations. As Governor, I knew they were essentially inert. Coming to Enugu at long weekends to catch fun with young girls in the guise of "Nkpuke" #Chimaroke

Peter "Gringory" Obi has set the Igbo political trajectory 24 years back.He has become a twin Blight and Scourge on the Land. His devious Opium served to Christians within sections of Nigeria and to Igbo domiciled in different sections of Nigeria is wicked and dangerous.#Chimaroke

As our people, the Igbo Ethnic Nationality set sail on yet another "roundabout" political journey. My mission is accomplished. A social responsibility to my generation and a sacrament to my conscience. A win/win in God's time. #Chimaroke

In the Land of the Igbo, the people have spoken. They have spoken under the influence of an unholy concoction of the 2 most powerful social "opioids"  Ethnic jingoism and Religious Extremism both powered by the trilogy of Priests," Igbo Patriots" and vulnerable Youths. #Chimaroke

I am befuddled that a people so blessed with the Trinity of Character could always fall easy prey to social climbers and scam artists.Whipping them into a trancelike orgy of Tribalism and rabid religiousity. A self destruct and stone deaf March to Political Armageddon. #Chimaroke

The Obedient "TAX" on the Igbo is a near 24 year drag on her political trajectory towards a true political reunification and testament with others in comity with  other African Ethnic Nationalities of the Nigerian Federation. #Chimaroke #ebeano

As I await the ultimate judgment of the people on the renewal of our mandate to serve. I can't help but reflect on the huge toll on the Igbo African Ethnic Nationality. Toll exerted by cyclical emergence of poorly educated and largely ignorant demagogues. #Chimaroke  #ebeano

He should go an retire in peace. #chimaroke

    3. You don’t even know chimaroke and you are equating him any kind of truth. Instead of some one like Chimaroke to represent Igbo to rule Nigeria, it is better we don’t rule. We are not power hungry like that. We just need an enabling environment for everyone for everyone to rule. He thinks we will be swayed by all these rhetorics. You have been representing yourself and not us. All of you thieves will retire or die soon there. Other countries have transparent sessions so that the people knows what they are doing and working on at every time but you guys will turn to secrets society to protect the interests of politicians and not electorates.

    11. Anon 15.01 as an Igbo person, I've NEVER heard ONE person say the "Lagos is no man's land". And yet if I asked you to point to one person that said so, you'll not be able to and might resort to abuses. After days of thinking this over, I've come to one conclusion. And that is that the yoruba are scared and jealous of the way the Igbo are progressing. Buying land everywhere and building at an alarming rate. Fear cannot turn people to act irrationally. Like Jimi Disu said on radio, you can't sell me your land, use the money to spray musicians, and turn around and claim that it belongs to you. Think about it. PO never campaigned as an Igbo man, and yet some Yoruba kept on throwing that at him. Did you all expect him to denounce his heritage? You guys should admit to yourselves that you're bigots even worse than our presido

    12. At anon 15:01, please tender videos or quote to back your claim to made up propaganda. You think we are desperate to rule to the extent to the extent of playing Nigeria type of politics by condoning this man with the hope he will rule Nigeria so it will be sane igboman is ruling. If this man is not good at home, what good would he be to the entire Nigeria. We don’t want a true democratic process and that they can’t handle. As for those that said we should play to our host politics, integrity is not something you pick and drop, if the host prefer to to do election pretend when it is even illegal our country except Nigeria never enforce any law, they can do that and nothing we can do about it but don’t ask me to agree or do your bidding. You have the choice to let me do me while you do you.

Just one, and then see what happens to igbos in Lagos. You tribalistic hoodlum.

He boasted no one born of a woman can defeat him.

Today, here we are trying to understand what really happened to him. I hope those who still loves him have checked up on him.

The death of Oyibo chukwu didn't go in vain. So painfully, we lost an illustrious son and father that would have changed a lot in Enugu state.

May his soul continue to rest in the hollows of God's hands.

I love my Igbo people. If you think you are God, we mess you you up.

In this election, Igbo people used it and send some old politicians home to rest and I love my people for that.

This current dispensation, Dem no dey, the next one (Tinubu's 8years) Dem no go dey! If a host community is receptive, align with their culture and doings. Don't come out boldly and be pissing on their culture. If Tinubu is Your a god, abeg follow worship, if you can't, don't go around castigating him. We just want someone that will make Nigeria work. Make our roads safe make we dey travel for festivities. Even build us a port in the east so we can migrate back home. Suffer don tire us.

Pls what specifically do you have against PO. Is it his youth? His financial independence? His low tolerance for flashy, fake and expensive lifestyle? His humility? His low tolerance for corruption? Or is it just the fact that he's Igbo. Tell the truth and shame the devil. If a Yoruba man with the same characteristics came out and was intent on fixing Nigeria, we would ALL follow him. I used to think the Yoruba were very cosmopolitan and objective folk, but ol boy, this election has revealed everyone's true colours

  7. I strongly have this conviction that Peter Obi will reclaim his stolen mandate. It doesn't matter what Chimaroke Nnamani or anyone says or does.

Ordinary, Chris Ngige should have told his Egbon friend to return the certificate back to INEC and say, him no go do again. Abi Chris Ngige no know the matter😁😁😁. Them suppose tell am again? Or play the film for am again?

Peter Obi is a commissioner of court and who doesn't know about that. They messed up with the wrong man and generation of youths.

    Someone succinctly put it this way on the man Peter Obi;

    THANK YOU PETER..

''While others encouraged rigging, buying of votes, thugry and all manner of illegal vices, our man from the tribe they believed to Love money more than everyone in the world remained different.

He encouraged peaceful voting and still delivered without structure. He gave Nigerians number 3 option outside of PDP and APC. He gave life to a party of 20 yrs old, without structure according to them.

A lot of people who never thought of becoming governors, knowing they can't secure a ticket in PDP and APC became governors and some became legislators both in Federal and state levels.
People who thought it was their rights to be in government and afterwards pass it on to whom they please now look illusive, the order has been dead and buried by Peter the Rock.

The umpires said he lost the election where he won, he went to seek redress in court and encouraged everyone to stay calm and everyone is calm without a question.. However the people who have the custody of the Umpire’s certificate of return are the ones fighting and fanning the ambre of war, not him and not his followers.

Biko say thank you to Peter Obi if you're a lover of good thing. Nwoke bugodi Odogwu!''

However, I will like to use this medium to persuade the igbos to stop the hate and bile against the yorubas. Our politicians should be held accountable for this style of divide and rule they are applying. Turning around to haul insults on a whole race that has wholeheartedly harbored you all this while is not good at all. Go to tweeter page and read what igbos are writing. It is saddening. I am yoruba and I don't see a fellow country man who is igbo as a threat to my life. We all want a positive change and so we supported the PO movement massively. Of course not everyone will buy into your vision. There is still freedom of association and it is democracy, anyone can choose whoever they decide to follow. Stop the insults and statements inciting division. It will never pay any of us at the long run.But you generalising and calling other meaningful yorubas horrible names says alot about you. Let go of the past hurt and bile implanted in you by the forefathers regarding the past civil war. We were all not there when it happened and should not be carrying the burden of revenge around. Every yorubas should treat everybody whether igbo or Hausa with respect and warmth. We are all one. We are humans first before enthinicity play out. Let's live in harmony and join hands together to say no to bad governance. Thank you.

Besides the vitriol goes both ways and none of the tribes is innocent.check the tweets by ffk and bayo ononuga.. elder statesmen in the camp of APC feeding the flames of tribalism with no remorse.

I read yorubas talking about no man's land , and I laugh. That phrase came up a few years ago by Orji Uzor Kalu... The same Orji that is now an APC cheiftain and eats and dines with tinubu. Yet, the Yoruba bigots on twitter are pouring bile on thier fellow foot soldiers

    6. Some keep saying “name one Igbo person that said Lagos is no man’s land” as if the comments sections of all blogs and SM have names. I have seen it countless times on SM including blogs and Instagram so it’s not made up. I look up profiles of those who say it online. Threats of war isn’t necessary. Failing to learn from history leads to its repetition and my prayer is that Nigerians will all learn that war isn’t pleasant. It only benefits the arms dealers in the west!

Humility and mutual respect is important. Aggression helps nobody. Saying things like “ they are envious of us because we have more money” or more whatever without statistical backing is not wise. You don’t have more money than another ethnicity because you don’t know what everyone has in their bank accounts! I rarely hear folks like Mike Adenuga, Dipo Jadesimi (whose daughter preceded Megan as the first black aristocrat in England) and so many old moneyed and new moneyed Yorubas respond to traders rant of being richer than Yorubas in their land! Calling them lazy, beggars etc. It was so toxic! I strongly believe the Agberos & those apprentices who start trading after high school (with limited education) are the ones always having those negative exchanges online. The Igbos I know and celebrate thanksgiving with will never say such obtuse things and I won’t either.

One more thing, I know someone once called PO, a former 8 year Nigerian governor “ the truth and the way” on this blog and I was offended as a Christian. I responded anonymously to the Tee guy to 🛑 Stop that nonsense. Not everyone will agree to turn Nigeria into “Dear Leader’s North Korea”! You can praise your politician but don’t use religious terms reserved for Jesus to describe a man who 600 international journalists said was corrupt in the Pandora papers with Gabriella investments. I don’t like Tinubu or Atiku so don’t insult me. I don’t worship humans but acting like a man with Zero managerial skill somehow won against APC that Jimi Agbaje (who was very popular at some point) tried to dislodge is dishonest.

Reverse psychology is when people reject your candidate based on merit and you cry foul knowing your language affinity (not merit) was your reason for hyping him. Funsho and Sanwoolu have better managerial resumes! I thought we wanted a Nigeria based on merit! Watch him give speeches, does he not need to go learn “public speaking” plus some more English? Hypocrisy is alive in Nigeria. In what universe will GRV even be a serious candidate for governorship and be so hyped over those with better resumes? Those playing tribal card are accusing those who resisted it.

  29. Trust LP to call him sore loser. His assessment of the national polity and how this was a drawback for the eastern region is a lesson worth considering.

  30. Even a broken clock is correct once a day…, read the message & forget the messenger. Most Yorubas who voted PO Lagos will not vote him today if they repeated the election! The pushing of a mediocre candidate due to language affinity made some of us curious and suspicious. GRV damaged PO coalition. Pls stop the lies that the SE voted MKO Abiola. Abiola lost to Alhaji Tofa in the SE… the so called Yoruba guy contesting in the SE has come out to say he attached Abiola as a “guy name” to help GRV. Nobody is debating GRV’s origin though he has a strong eastern accent (the way be pronounced Babajide Sanwoolu) but the confession by the friend who adopted a Yoruba name to “help” his candidacy did not help the suspicion. It’s difficult to unseat a sitting Gov that is still popular among most civil servants and market women. Sanwoolu was still loved by many.
