The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner of Benue State Governorship election which held on Saturday March 18, 2023..

      The Late Rev Father Moses Adasu was once the Benue State governor.
      He got into office January 1992 till November 1993 when General Abacha overthrew the civilian government.

      He has been suspended from priestly duties for now. You can’t combine both in the Catholic Church
