Na today I truly understand why my father in law cry for awa wedding. To raise and nurture a child you bond with, and years later, hand her over to another man, has got to be a very very difficult thing to do. Chai!
Parenting is tough, yet fun. May God give us the Grace and resources to raise these precious gifts....

DeleteFab momma, it baffles me too. Yesterday was my hubby's birthday. The guy just did like it was a normal day, after we sang for him in the morning, gave him his gifts, finish.
DeleteHe went to work, came back, bathed, ate and slept. Nothing special, nothing on his WhatsApp status or any other social media. He even warned me to stop posting him on mine.
The funniest thing is that on my own birthday, he posts me on his WhatsApp and Facebook, even uses me as his DP. Thinking about it now, I think he just does that to please me. Poor hubby 😟
I know he will still take us out by weekend and give us a treat. He is the one celebrating birthday, he is the one that will still spend on us. When me or any of the kids is celebrating, he will still take us out and spend. God bless all the "good" men like my hubby. (Side eyes at Dante) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've read people talked about personalities and their presence here and I believed it to be true.
So yesterday evening before night fall, I got a mail from an influential personality. A great woman of substance, a dynamic woman, an author with a great charisma. A morale booster and above all, a lifetime coach.
I was so humbled at her introduction and the purpose in which she had written to me for an engagement. She's a visitor here and obviously sees and read my comments here.
It was a great moment of conversation and engagement and it broadened the horizon of my knowledge and understanding.
It was a great session which I don't think I can be able to afford if I'm to pay for it.
I feel so excited, blessed, touched and most importantly, rejuvenated.
Truly, in life we learn, unlearn and relearn in order to broaden our horizon and stay enlightened. Within that 45mins of time shared, I had a great time of enlightenment and a perspective shift.
Awesome!!!

DeleteSome banks didn't open today in Port Harcourt. I don't know if it's every bank though.
DeleteYesterday night while I was charging my phone, I got a credit alert. When I saw the amount on my displayed screen, I know it was the declined transaction I was debited earlier this month that has been reversed.
It was a small money though but the excitement was indescribable.
I had filled a form in the bank last week and when I wasn't seeing their effort, I DM the UBA customer care on Twitter after tweeting about it. I got a response after three days they are now working on it and I was even given the ticket number to show it's been treated.
Finally, I got it yesterday. Again, I think network have improved for online transfer and all that.

We imported bedbug into our home after Christmas visit to my Father in-law's house in the village. It was as if they are rearing bedbugs for sale there. I wonder how he and his new wife are living in such a place.
Let me try the remedy first, if it works, I will tell his new wife to try it cos I have tried all sorts, no results.
