Cos, my daughter is 6 months already, and I was discussing with my wife that we need to wear white lace and red head gear at our daughter's wedding. I was also talking about the food vendors and decor, when my wife cut me short. She told me to focus on paying the girl's school fees and other expenses, instead of having yeye imaginations. Kai! Wetin woman do man. Let me call the tailor to suspend the wedding sewing. 🥲🥺

    HOW IS YOUR GIVING?

    'The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn.' 1 Corinthians 16:2 TLB


    Jesus said, 'If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches' (Luke 16:11 NIV)? In other words, if you are not faithful to him with your finances, he will not trust you with greater blessings. What does it mean to be faithful in your finances? Paul writes: 'On every Lord's Day each of you should put aside something from what you have earned during the week, and use it for this offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn' (1 Corinthians 16:2 TLB).

    This means three things:
    (1) Regular giving. Note the words 'every Lord's Day'. This is systematic giving, not sporadic giving. It is not, 'I feel good today, so I'm going to give to God.' If you try that with your mortgage lender, you will be without a house! You're not supposed to give by impulse, but by a commitment to obey God's word.
    (2) Planned giving. 'You should put aside something from what you have earned.' If you're married, sit down and discuss it with your partner and decide the amount you feel God wants you to give each week. If you don't plan it, you will not give consistently.
    (3) Proportional giving. 'The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn'. If God blesses you financially, you should prayerfully consider increasing your giving.

    Bottom line: you are to return to God a percentage of what he enables you to earn. When you do, he promises to increase you abundantly (see Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-10).

      Desmond Elliot had to buy 8 transformers at this time and distributed them to his constituent, promising to do more if reelected.

      Something he wouldn't have done if Labour Party didn't come into the picture.

      Sanwo Olu even as at last week started giving back all those impounded cars they seized from drivers free of charge. I remember when these poor drivers were begging even they were willing to pay the fine for it but the government refused.

      Now election is almost at hand and they decided to give them back their vehicles which I still believe they will impound it again if they win.

      It doesn't matter what anyone does, Labour Party will take over Lagos government house.

    Congrats to all the recipients of the 10,000 giveaway. I understand that feeling.

    Yesterday, I was somewhere waiting to see a man. A young man I believe should be in his 40's jumped up and shouted in excitement. It happened to be a credit alert he has received.

    So when a lady whom might be his sister or neighbor asked him how much is the money, and he responded 1,500.

    The lady hissed and said common 1,500 na you dey happy as if na 50,000.

    The man told her, you no go understand. He went further to tell her he hasn't eaten anything since the day before that day.

    For me, I understand him even if he didn't say it. People are truly suffering currently. Even 1,000 as in 1K some people will worship you for it.

    There were times I didn't eat for a full day and no one knew what I was going through then.


    Ordinarily, 1,500 shouldn't moved that man into that kind of excitement I saw him displayed if things truly was working in Nigeria and for him too.

    I wasn't having much with me but I smiled with him and told him not to mind the lady.

    I gave him 1k from the 3k cash on me to supplement the 1,500 because I know he will definitely pay POS charge to withdraw the 1,500.
