I still chose to spend time in school to acquire knowledge. Thereafter, I can learn a skill to add to my wealth of knowledge.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, internet na baba. I learnt how to sew beautiful trousers on YouTube. You will never believe I didn't go to a sewing school.
DeleteWhether you want to go into business or skill learning, you need formal education. The way a graduate will run a business is better than when an illiterate runs it. So I will choose education over and over again before considering business and skill if I want to add them.
ReplyDeleteI would have learnt a skill along side schooling, wanted to do that during one ASUU strike then but where I wanted learning the person insisted on full payment that's how I didn't do it then

I'd still go to school and venture into that business no matter how small the start up would be.
ReplyDeleteThis was how we were all raised: you go to school then during the semester holidays and longer breaks you are taken to learn a skill. That way, you can use your skills in school to fend for yourself.
ReplyDeleteI don't regret going to school at all, so I'll still spend the years going to school but this time around create time to learn a skill.
