Send money to your wife and tell her to help buy pad and panties for her just incase;cos those things aren’t any of your business but for the sake of humanity..
Go about your daily activity and never ask her if she bought or not;know your boundary..
If you observe wifey didn’t buy;mind your business henceforth;never send money directly to the househelp account while in your home;everything should go through Madam so long as another woman or Lady is involved..

ReplyDeleteIt's a slap on the woman's face. It means she failed in her responsibility towards the girl. My husband won't even buy pant and bra for my daughter coz I observe my girl to make sure her girly needs are provided.
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked as a nanny/housemaid for a certain family in Lagos. Whenever the family travel abroad they buy me things which includes underwears. If the man goes alone he still does same and he has never looked at me in a suspicious way.

The wife never questioned as she would be the one who would call me to go pick them and check if they are my sizes and also end up making jokes with the man on how he's now perfect in shopping female items.
A few men will do it with free mind, some because their wife is not taking care of the house help. It's not usually from a place of .....

ReplyDeleteSome women don't care about the sanitary needs of their maids. A maid's dress and undies will be so worn our but still they don't care. Husband has been observing to see if wife will be moved one day to change these things for the girl, but still she cares less. Husband gives the wife money to buy those things for the maid but she wouldn't do it instead she spends the money on herself. The husband goes out one fateful day and saw someone across the road hawking those things and he thought to himself: 'let me buy this thing for this girl self, it is shameful that neighbours are already gossiping that we have not been fair to our maid'. Not that he planned buying those stuff for the maid, but coincidentally, he bumped into a guy hawking those stuff close to their home and decided to buy.
