Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his first wife May have reportedly lost their first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie who was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious.
A source who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity revealed that Yul has confirmed Kambilichukwu’s death as the time this report was filed.
May’s sister who was at the scene said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today. After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and that’s when he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive..

DeleteIt entered my mind. I no go lie but it may be the lack of sleep that triggered misfiring of neurons in his brain which resulted in the seizure. Parents, please ensure your kids sleep well at night and get the average amount of hours for their age. The poor boy may possibly have been saved if the medical care was what it should be. I know someone who had a seizure after a night without sleep but was fortunate to get an injection from the emergency crew before they took the person to the hospital for scans, etc. The injection stops the seizure and sends the person to sleep. May his soul RIP and may God grant his parents, siblings, and friends the fortitude to bear this loss.

Yeh father started cheating on his wife and this basically opened the family up to be vulnerable to all kinds of spiritual attacks. I've always found it strange how so many well-known Nigerian men have lost their first sons! This phenomenon needs to be studied and investigated.

ReplyDeleteI am shocked at comments here. Nobody killed the kid. He stayed up all night studying, went to school, wrote exams, then played soccer after school. He didn’t have any decent rest in 24 hours. You think kids don’t develop blood pressure?? He then had a seizure. Who rushes someone having a seizure to the hospital?? Just remove things close to them, turn the person on their side and hold the person still, to prevent rolling and causing more injuries. The seizure will eventually stop. The person will come out of it without any problems. Na severe stress his body went through. May his soul rest in peace
ReplyDeleteEmergency services are useful especially if the person's oxygen supply drops. However, placing the person on his/her side and removing any harmful object that may injure them are the first steps if someone is having a seizure.
