ReplyDeleteWho no eat ' gbi' can not die 'gbi'so I can't die 'gbi', I dada will not eat 'gbi' so i can not die 'gbi',Evil will go back to evil doers..Lolzzz
Deleteit's a yoruba proverb used for clear conscience and clean heart.
What rubbish did she type there? Dunno why these Yoruba actresses don't like communicating in English
ReplyDeleteSome of them dey over local na.
DeleteVery annoying things.😏
There is nothing wrong with one’s mother tongue.
DeleteMystic
Shooter, you are funny o. How do you expect them to communicate in a language they can't speak! Very razz set of humans, with their burnt knuckles.
DeleteSo to write in a person's father and mother language means the person is razz?
DeleteShe wrote for a targeted person(at best those who understand the language and will quickly understand what she wrote).
The English write in their language. Why can't a Yoruba, an Isoko, or an Esan write in their respective languages?
Translation plzzz
ReplyDeleteAunty rest!
ReplyDeleteGbi is a play of words...it can mean thud (sound) or suddenly etc. The first sentence means that you can't die for an evil you weren't involved in...see Proverbs 26:2. Second sentence is her 'throwing' the curse back at her detractors.
ReplyDeleteI like how Funke Akindele cut herself off from these Yoruba actors and actresses. I would advise Aduniade to do same. She's too posh for such razz humans. Adunni, focus more on the English movie industry.
ReplyDeleteshe said ''only who has done bad that evil befalls and she has done nothing wrong, so no evil will befall''. The concluding part is 'back to sender'.
ReplyDeleteFelicity
All I see in the comment sections are just jealousy and envy. How is speaking your mother tongue razz? How is supporting an individual a sin? At least it is.a free world. And all of you saying her acting is rubbish, yes it may be rubbish, its on Netflix and she is making her money. Those of you hater should release good films if you know how to make one. Haters!
ReplyDeleteAbeg help me ask them o
DeleteThey are razz simple! Nobody is jealousy of her. Like you didn't see the razz way they wer displaying on Instagram.Even Muyiwa Ademola had to say he is ashamed of his colleagues.
DeleteSince you seems to know them personally, tell them to stop bleaching.
Filth this one
Delete😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteLol@ local and razz. After Chimamanda's sermons, some people still believe it is "posh" to speak only your captors sorry colonizers language. Even the British are trying to train their important sectors like the military to be multilingual or at least bilingual, as they see the disadvantage of speaking just one language. We Yoruba are always very proud of our language and culture, no matter the height we attain, Tinubu, Osinbajo, OBJ, Fashola, Akinwunmi Adeshina, all governors of Yoruba states, all yoruba musicians Kizz, Davido, Wizkid etc. We are proudly bilingual or multilingual. If you like allow other people erase or debase your culture because you want to appear posh, na your problem be dat.
ReplyDeleteThe shade may not be what you think..
ReplyDeleteRemember the headlines that her Her Ex had triplets .
.
She could be referring to that
