Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has hailed his defender Luke Shaw, describing the Englishman’s recent performances as ‘fantastic’.

The Dutchman recently moved Shaw from his usually left-back position to become an emergency centre-back.

Lisandro Martinez has not returned from his World Cup break after helping Argentina clinch the trophy in Qatar and Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have not been at their best.
The manager had to bring in Shaw to play alongside Raphael Varane in the heart of the defence and the left-back has performed exceptionally in his new role against Nottingham Forest and Wolves.

And Ten Hag says Shaw’s ‘fabulous’ performances at centre-back have proved he’s now an ‘option’ there for the future.

“We have seen the last two games. I think he did fabulous and was impressive, but we also know he is really good as a left full-back but it’s an extra option and [that] is always good for a team,” Ten Hag told the press ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Bournemouth.

Manchenter United are sitting in fourth place in the Premier League table ahead of their next game against Bournemouth.

  1. I wonder why the Presidency is not happy with OBJ's comment that PMB's regime was horrible and hell on earth for Nigerians. This govt has done more harm than good to Nigerians. Thank God their reign is almost coming to an end.
May God give us a well deserved leader come next month.
