Actress Uche Ogbodo And Baby Daddy Traditional Wedding Holding Today.

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo will traditionally wed her baby Daddy Bobby Maris today Thursday January 5, 2022 in the Village in the Eastern part of Nigeria....

Insiders who are in the know say the actress invited a few people from Nollywood and asked them to save the date and keep it coded...

I asked the source if Uche was not already married as she had said in her Interviews in 2022, the source replied that in Igbo land even if the bride price has been paid, the ceremony must still hold and the bride escorted to her husbands family...

The couple currently have two daughters, one together and an older one from Uche's first Marriage.

Congratulations to them!

Igba nkwu is the koko for me, in my village, after paying bride price, my kinsmen will be asking you when the traditional marriage ceremony will take place, it is during traditional marriage that you will locate your husband with wine and show people who your husband is, so it is very very importamkpa in igbo land.

    5. As if Igbo land is just one tiny city.

    6. My God! Fan you’re too loquacious and you need to curb it! You just blurt out things without thinking and it’s irritating that a grown mama does that. Is the whole of Igbo land your tiny village in Enugu? In most places that I know including mine, after Ime-ego where they settle the list and all, a traditional ceremony no matter how small must be done to conclude the marriage before the bride is handed over to her husband and in-laws. Some people may do everything on the same day, some may not.

  10. That's not true at all, once the bride price has been paid, every other ceremony is Jara. Payment of bride price is the most important thing in Igbo traditional marriage.

She was obviously not married then and didn't want trolling. Or they just did a civil wedding.

    Congratulations to them.

  11. From my side of Igbo land, bride price is the Koko. Once it is paid, every other thing is ceremonial.

    1. Even my side too. I don't know y they are attacking Fan up there.

    2. Fan is correct, in Igbo culture, bride price payment signifies marriage.
      Anything else is optional.

    3. They are ‘attacking’ Fan because she is factually not correct. Igbo land extends beyond Nkanu and Enugu state. You and Fan are from same state so may have same culture. Uche is from Imo and her culture may be different

  14. Congrats people...... from my side even if bride price has been paid there's need for traditional marriage, else in future time if the children are set to marry .......the parent will go back and conduct traditional marriage before their kids can marry proper.

    1. You say???????? if no money they must hold a traditional marriage.

      Some culture sha.

      Delete
    2. It's true. Some part of Igbo land, if the traditional marriage was not done and the woman dies, it must be done before she can be buried.

      Delete
    3. Anons 12.28 I totally agree with you. Same way its done where I hail from. Bride price paid after death and before any burial arrangements can be done.

      Delete
    4. Excited courtesy, there is nothing like ‘some culture sha’. Haven’t you seen ‘Sitting room traditional wedding’ before? How much is that, that someone that wants to marry cannot afford? So they cannot afford to buy minerals and cook one pot of rice for a handful of people?

      Delete
    5. Golding Mummy it is still the same pride price that Fan is talking about. Bride price is different from ceremony. Bride price is the koko. With the price paid , nobody has the effrontery to as you 'akwuola ugwo isi gi ?'

Akwuola ugwo isi gi wu na aluola gi. If the price is paid you are are qualified to be called Mrs Ejiofor. The rest are jars.

The first critique on Fan sounds malicious though
