Abducted Son Of Murdered CBN Staff Found Dead

The lifeless body of the abducted son of the slain staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (Mr Kehinde Fatinoye) has been found in Ogun river.

Fatinoye and his wife were murdered by yet-to-be-identified persons in their Ibara GRA residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital and their son was dragged away by the assassins alongside a domestic staff and both were thrown into the river along the Adigbe-Obada road.

While the domestic staff reportedly escaped from the water, the son, Oreoluwa, was found dead, with his hands and legs tied.

The Ogun State police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed to Daily post that Oreoluwa was found dead in the river, and the corpse is with the police.

Oyeyemi said the maid is also with the command.

He added that the arrested suspect is still in custody, aiding police investigation.

Meanwhile, the Fatinoye’s have been buried on Monday.

  6. This one, too sad! What could they have done to wipe out a whole family? Are these people humans like us? What kind of hearts do they have? Like someone said, just as God crested humans, devil created his own kind.
How do you do this? I hope the monsters who did this are caught.
    May their souls find rest.

  21. The maid should be investigated very well. Didn't they tie her own legs and hands too? How did she escape?
These killings is either politically motivated (if he was a politician) or from a household enemy. They want to inherit their properties.

    1. Probably fighting over lands and property. When I was in Lagos, a man in my church killed his brother cos of inheritance.
Some of these parents should do right. Share whatever you want to share for your children before death calls.

    2. What about workplace? He worked at CBN…. A “lucrative” Nigerian establishment. The lack of the institutions of good governance including well paid, well trained cops and detectives affects all areas of life in Nigeria. Even the rich are not spared. I will repeat it to whoever will pay attention, many homicides are being passed off as accidents in Nigeria because there is no forensic crime solving techniques while almost all the known homicides are never solved. The victims never get justice. Police just parade some poor petty thieves and pin it on them. May the killers be brought to Justice but if you are a youth in today’s Nigeria, you owe it to yourself and your coming generations to protest, speak up to power and fight for a better Nigeria. Your money from hustling does not insulate you from the results of bad, corrupt governance as we saw with the cyclist son of the late governor of Lagos killed by a “hit & run” driver.

  24. These deaths really weighs my spirit down. Who did it, why? Was it cult related killings? I have heard about cases like this where a rival cult group kills in this manner. The police should do a thorough job o. I'm tired!

    1. I used to think rival cults kill only the culprit, why kill the mum and dad too or if it's the man that is a cultist, why kill the wife and son too?

  28. I think it's cult related or a scorn lover. Seeing that his son is an adult and was abducted, I think it's either of any of the above I mentioned.
    So disheartening

  34. The one thing that scares me the most about Nigeria is that someone can just come into your house, kill you and get away with it.scares the shit outa me.There’s no accountability anywhere in Nigeria

  35. Very sad one😭😭😭

  36. So sad. This was a planned murder but why the whole family, or was it a cult attack. I fear Abeokuta city long before now filled with a lot diabolism.

  37. May their souls rest in perfect peace

The house help should be drill properly, how possible can his hands be tied and thrown inside river and he was still able to swim out of the river for safety and even untied his hands all by himself? Even the best swimmer wouldn't be able to swim with his hands tied.
How come his boss son didn't survived it since their hands were both tied?

  39. This story put me through so many emotions. All I can say is, this life, this world, this experience of being alive is never to be taken lightly. There is real evil and deep pain in this world. After this life, I will need a long rest if I need to be reincarnated again. I need to get off this reincarnation wheel because it ain't pretty no more in this world.

May God have mercy on us all. And may the souls of the departed find eternal peace.

  40. I suspect his family members after the holy book says A man's enemy is from his household. Thank God the maid is alive. The police will need to investigate the house maid to ascertain the identity of the assassins.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Well the fact is we read stories like this and it sends chills down our spine and we react. There must have been a background information before this murder. Knowing Nigerians, I can bet that only the man knew what he got himself involved in. It sure must be serious for someone to visit this kind of venom in his family. 2 things must be involved: 1) money 0r 2) woman. This can't be assassination else they won't kill the wife and children. And they said that his other son died a few months back. He must have dined with the devil. People should be careful these days. There are heartless people you dare not fuck with. To even enter Nigeria is not on my list anymore.

  42. Only the maid escaped??? Think twice*

    ReplyDelete
  43. I’ve said it and say it again we need a channel or programme that shows public executions. After hours or something so that any idiot who thinks all that will happen is bribe police will think twice. Right now in Nigeria the reward outweighs the risk so it continues to grow and spread. Let them see firing squad for the last rapist, kidnapper, cultist. They won’t entertain those thoughts again
