    2. Na wa oooooo Modern Nigerian Women and Daughters of AMANDA..... They all love to say the same online but do the opposite... LIES.. All of you will misbehave badly when you meet your celebrity crush.. STOP CAPPING... Moreover, a lot of you are in Ebuka's dm or Davido dm or Ned's dm....... etc Did you take ANY permission from their wife/partner before you entered their dm to say that flirty Hello! ? Is that behavior not Razz too ? Messaging a taken man..

Lately, it seems a successful man can't have any PEACE in Nigeria again..The spirit of complaining, competing and tackling every thing that happens around a successful man has dominated all the space (private, public and online)....Keep playing with fire...We will start recommending to all Nigerian men (both married and unmarried ooo) to look elsewhere (other African countries) for peaceful women.. You Nigerian women will toast and marry yourselves in 2023..

  2. Courtesy demands that even when you see two people standing either couple or not,you greet both.

  3. It is rude to even enter a room and not give a general greeting. Some folks just full of bad manners.

  4. People really do care about things like that? Lol.

I go out with my husband, people say hello to just him and I barely notice them enough to be mad let alone post about it. I don't want the fake smile and forced small talk that goes into "hellos". Just say hello to who you know and leave me out of it.

    1. It may not matter to you,but it matters to her, please do not dismiss her opinion. Its bad manner.

    2. 15:47,

It does not have to matter for it to be inappropriate.

Your actions are a reflection of who you are, so irrespective of whether Cynthia minds or not, your actions have spoken for you.

    3. If you didn't mind it you would not have noticed it. We unconsciously notice things that violate our expectations. But instead of calling it out, some choose to justify or excuse it instead. This is a power play that is often used to dismiss women. I've seen American men and women do it too, so it's not a Naija thing

    4. 18:46,

Once again, you don't have to mind it, to notice it.

If you don't notice a gap in someone's social etiquette, it's most likely that you are lacking in it yourself.

@ comparison to Americans and Brits, is that supposed to make it ok? Except I missed it, Cynthia didn't direct her message to a particular set of people.

If you need to be rude to get ahead mentally or emotionally, then you have a serious complex.

      Powerplay 101!

    1. Haha exactly. Women are so guilty of this. You want to form friendship with my husband and not with me. You're very funny. How can you be friends with one part of a couple and deliberately and totally exclude the other, like right in front of them? You dey ment... common sense and emotional intelligence is really necessary.

    2. Very funny. Which one is bad manners? Is it wrong for the wife to say hi even if the person in question doesn't say hi to her first? Or just smile and face front. Let's forget all this respect/disrespect. People see Justin Bieber with his wife and act like she's not with.
It's possible they know him from BBN and that's the person they just want to say hi to. Must we get angry over little things

    3. Anon 16:39 many in-laws do this too. They want to befriend and be close to the husband and exclude his wife and children. It’s never a good idea in the long run.

  9. People do this to me all the time especially women, particularly in stores. They greet my husband and ignore me, without knowing that it’s me that mostly drags him to the store to buy things for me.
One that ignored me was even advertising other hair products to him without looking at my side, had to give it back to her.

    1. she's not a wise entrepreneur, maybe she was trying to advertise herself to him and using hair to disguise because men don't wear hair, let's assume he patronised her, you will still be the one to wear the hair, so why ignore you at first?

  11. A lady banker (my husband's company's account officer)walked up to my husband and i right in the church premises, grabbed my husband on his hand and said good afternoon sir while ignoring me completely. She said "i miss you oooo". It has been long and she totally ignored me(i was heavily pregnant)
My gentleman grabbed her tightly and forced her to tell me where and how she is missing him and even made her to greet me properly before she walked away. After that day,she never came close to us.

    1. Weldone to ur husband. Men hardly notice small stuff like this. This is what i want to teach my own husband.

    2. Wahala be like I miss you. I believe some women do this deliberately. what would have happened to her if she had said "hello ma'am" and continued with her nonsense chat.

I am very glad your husband has sense.

I remember going to a hotel with my husband to use their restaurant and the receptionist greeted him and ignored me totally. I didn't have energy, I just left her.

Whoever tries that with me next time, I will reply with "good evening ma" and when she replies I would say "oh, so I am not invisible".
      Rubbish.

    3. πŸ‘πŸΎto your husbandπŸ‘ŒπŸΎIt’s rude to greet a man or woman and ignore their partner. My friend calls women go suck up to men at the expense of their wives, “man-women”. It’s rude and impolite to greet Ebuka and ignore his wife. I’m not surprised, I watched a YouTube clip where he said some girls were sending him pics of their boobs and soliciting him in his DM! Women who do that usually have an agenda or a crush on the guy otherwise saying hello takes a millisecond.

  17. What's the big deal in not greeting her? Is she a celebrity? People know her husband bcus he is a celeb. In abroad they greet often and life is very simple.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Why would someone see two people together and greet only one?
    People sha.

  19. Abroad, people that don't know you won't say hello. Why is Africas own different? People say hello to your husband bcus he is a celebrity. And you are not a celeb y must dey greet u. Some people just like losing their peace of mind over irrelevant things.

  20. Never ignore the spontaneous instinct of a woman (wife for that matter. Unfortunately most men (husbands) are ignorant of the subtle power of women who crush on them. Very few wise men know these things and they don't take it for granted.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, each to his own. In time past I would have concurred, Seriously it's not mandatory to say hello to her. It won't hurt if she models what she wants to the person. Now that she has brought it to light she should be ready to vex hence forth loool.
