INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I remember my first pregnancy, the excitement and all. I was online all the time checking out every symptoms.

I had about five pregnancy monitoring apps which helped with weekly assessments and tracking. On this apps baby sizes are usually compared to fruits.

Every doctors appointment came with a lot of questions from me, every time I asked questions I would hear first time mom and their wahala.

The excitement of shopping for baby things was crazy too, by the time I was five months pregnant I had packed and repacked my hospital bag, crazy right. I bought a lot of unnecessary things too.

Worked myself up so much about a lot of unnecessary things such as the position of the baby cot, night light, colour matching everything etc.

By the time I was pregnant with my second, I was more practical with my choices, Happy but not unnecessarily worried about things again, didn’t pack my hospital bag till eight months.

I wasn’t obsessed with colour matching baby clothes with flannel, cap and socks like my first. I didn’t buy a lot of stuffs like I did with my first. My second even used a lot of things I bought for my first that he didn’t get to use.

I also spent less time checking stuffs on the Internet. I look back now and laugh at myself and how much I worked myself up over little things with my first.

Haha every woman who is pregnant for the first time  goes through this excitement

IJAYS GIST CORNER

E get this bros oh, he fell deeply in love with one sherikoko; sent her to school and provided all her needs. He portrayed himself as a big guy and babe sef was happy she's hit a Jack pot

   This guy did all he could for the babe and when he popped the question, she didn't think twice before accepting the ring, after all he's been a supportive boyfriend.  He requested to marry her quickly because babe said she was pregnant and at that time, this guy was living in his big sis house. Well she asked that he lived in her house with her family while he go about his business and have a large house too

  He was doing well in business and wasn't paying house rent (na mumu dey pay house rent). So he had enough to lavish on babe.  During wedding preparations, guy bought a cow and sent to his in-laws to be, that one alone was the talk of town and wedding was superb. 

Babe too, seeing how rich hubby is, maybe felt he's an oshimiri atata, one thing led to another and she dropped out of school and hubby sef no send. He loves her and that's all that matters. She birthed her cute baby and babe's family has been taking turns to stay in their home to do omugwo 

  Now business is no longer booming, lots of cash is moved out on a daily to keep up the good life and much isn't going into the business. Business don dey shake oh. And the funny thing is that till this moment i'm writing in this, this guy never tell him wife sey, e no be like before, sey him business dey crumble. Wifey sef no get time to monitor hubby business to know how far. 

   He was doing all that to make sure she falls for him. Una know as business places dey be na for we Eastern brothers, with the associations and colleagues around. The other guys that tried advising him to cut short his spending on the babe, guy blocked them and saw them as enemies of progress.  You no go school, you want your woman to be educated because you love her, babe sef use her hand sey she no want go school again 

 Guy is always miserable as he watch his business go down each day that passes still he's yet to open up to wifey.  He's colleagues are seriously planning on letting his wife know what's happening before man go commit suicide. 

I have a brother like this too, a people pleaser always living above his means. What he was trying to prove to people, we don't know.  We his family knew he was living above his means. He can carry the community problem yet his #10 no go enter for we him family. I just thank God for the kind of wife God gave him.

 She discovered this lifestyle while they were dating and requested to know his earnings, he refused telling her and it resulted to lots of misunderstandings. We supported and insisted he tells her his earnings. All she wanted was to help build her man and cut down on unnecessary spendings and they're living happily

  Mek una dey tell una women how una pocket be oh, no go put yourself for high jumb biko nu. This Christmas now, even in-laws will be expecting plenty goodies. I pray God shows up for him. Don't know why his family turned a blind eye to his predicament ...

Na wah oh.. what kind of life is this?

Remember I used the money to buy broilers(chicken) for my poultry business, well, after sales next week, give or take, I'm hoping to recover maybe 300.000 naira, I plan to use 100.000 naira to start my Masters while I will use the remaining 200.000 naira to restock for the new year.
